Question re: getting succinct information for work adjustments
Hi, new here, hope I've posted in the right place.
I've just been given a diagnosis from an MRI of facet joint arthritis and wasting of paraspinal muscles (the second due to long covid).
I work part time and already have some adjustments in place after 3 episodes of acute back pain, but this needs to be formalised now I have my diagnosis.
The consultant physio has verbally advised that I should not be lifting any heavy weights, over - bending or twisting and have supportive seating and desk that keeps my back in optimal position. This is to avoid further damage to the joints or very weak.muscles whilst I build up strength with physio.
I'm Wondering if there are any resources out there that put this information succinctly where I can link for Occy Health as the phone calls with them often result in them having missed or misunderstood a lot of what I've said. Google hasn't been very helpful it's a lot of disjointed information.
Thanks in advance if anyone is able to help.
