Steroid injection for sacroiliac joint question

This is my 1st post here. I am wondering if the benefits of the steroid shot can vary from one day to another. Sometimes I think the shot suddenly stopped working then the next day I get good relief. Adding to the confusion is the relief I get from a drug called Cymbalta (DULoxetine). 30 mg every morning. That drug works better than any other drug I tried.

Sorry to hear your concerns about steroid shot pain relief.

I have had steroids injections and yes on and off pain relief. Duration of time another issue sometimes weeks sometimes months but do enjoy the relief they give but still confused !

Glad you have found a drug (Cymbalta) that works for you to.
