Real person to help with PIP

Hello,

I can’t believe that at the age of 45 I am writing about my chronic pain. At the start of 2025, I had no major pain. Now, I’m exhausted 90% of the time, and even simple tasks leave me drained…

Recently, I was made redundant, and the thought of job hunting only adds to my fatigue.Because of my health, I’ve decided to apply for PIP — I don’t think I have many other options. My main concern is making my application convincing, as I truly can’t work in my current condition.

I’ve read that there are real people (not just automated sites) who can help with the forms, but I’m so constantly tired that even searching a bit more than usual help feels overwhelming.

I could youse some advice on in person guidance to prepare my application properly, so I can give myself the best chance — and hopefully get back on track in the future.

Could someone please recommend where I can find an actual person who can help me with my PIP application?

Thank you for your help. Thanks 🩷

Good morning @_franny_ welcome to the online community.

I see you are considering applying for financial help. In particular PIP and need some practical help filling in the forms, absolutely we can give you information to help you:

If you scroll down to the section entitled personal independence payment at the end it lists links to organisations whoch can help. Just note some of them have long waiting lists so it might be as well to contact them ASAP.

Do read the rest of the acrticle too as you may be able to apply for other financial support.

    Best wishes

    Ellen.
