    Hi
Sorry to hear of your loss, the only consolation you can have is that he is with your mum now which is where he would want to be and he is happy and in no pain or discomfort.
    God Bless

well my father was laid to rest , the service was lovely my sister and brother- in - law had arranged it .

I tried to walk as far behind my fathers hears as long as i could, but my pain in the hip was getting worse and to make matters worse, I was getting pains in my chest ith using the crutches ( my mobility scooter had stalled due to the snow getting in the works and melting,

thank you all for your kind support (you are all the very best people around THANK YOU)

    Hi Mike
Your Dad knew you walked as far as you could.
You did well to get through the day.
Your Sister did well too. My brother said something at my Mum's funeral and it was so moving.
Mike, I wish you all the best, you know you can always post on here if you feel down
    Love to you all

Dear Mike, Hazel and Mike JR

I will be thinking of you and your family in the coming weeks. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory bring some comfort to you in the future.

You must know by now that many of us on here have a real soft spot for you three in our hearts, I certainly do.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

    Hi Mike

I really do hope that you get your scooter back on track soon. It makes your life easier so is essential that it gets sorted as soon as possible. Why does it sometimes feel that everything is so difficult and complicated? Why should we be made to feel we have to fight to get things done? It does get you down, doesn't it especially at this fragile time in your life.

    Luv

Hello Mike, Hazel & Mike jnr,

I am pretty new on here so don't know too much about you all, but as I have lost both my much loved and desperately missed parents I can understand how you must be feeling.

When my Dad died and people offered me their condolences, I always replied "he hasn't gone 'cos he'll always be in here" and placed my hand over my heart. And believe me, when Mum joined him a few years later, I felt the same intense feeling then. Still do.

Love that strong can never end - not even in death.

    My condolences, Jackie

    Hi Mike
I hope you rae feeling a bit better physically now :(
Those people are wonderful aren't they. At the end of the day it happens to all of us and like others I have lost both of my parents and am an orphan :(
Hopefully you will find out why a urine infection caused your Dad's heart attack and will be able to accept that it did. Shocking though.
I still miss my Mum daily, but can remember the good times much more now, which is nice and what I know she would want.
Take care and be kind to yourself just now.
Hope the scooter gets fixed ASAP
    love
    Toni xx
