    Hi Colin and Chrisov

Like Skezier both so close. A clue not a Chinn and Chapman, a little heavier. I think it got to no.15 in charts

I am dredging through the record library in my head but I can't remember the words of so much even if \I can play them! It's got get past Britney 1st.......... Lets not forget the real sad one waiting in the wings....... Hope your a bit better today?
Thanks for saying that bout my 'poem', I should look up the rules of poetry eh? Do you know who 'She' is? Most people that visit C'wall visit there though now ones a museum they may not go down to this one.
    Love
    Cris x

Just remembered the band with the drummer with only one arm (can't remember the name) covered a Sweet song (don't remember which) so really unless its that - and you can't let me have that one - it will only help someone who has a few more brain cells than I seem to be able to use today..........

    Hi Cris

Are you thinking of Def Leppord, the drummer lost an arm and they may have covered this song. It is Sweet but maybe not as well known as I thought.

Let me know when you're fed up and I'll give you the answer :)

if yes have a go at this a very well known song if you know the words but ill give you a clue to start you off cos i'm good like that, only a couple of people done this song it was in the charts twice second time by an actor

Spring was never waiting for us, girl
    It ran one step ahead
As we followed in the dance
Between the parted pages and were pressed
    In love's hot, fevered iron
Like a striped pair of pants

wish i had not done the clue now you will get this

    Hi Colin

    It was Bobby Vee :)

Macarthur Park I think the original was Richard Harris

Do you remember chalk hearts melting on a playground wall
Do you remember dawn escaped from moonwashed college halls
Do you remember the cherry blossom in the market square
Do you remember I thought it was confetti in your hair

Sweet Loretta Martin thought she was a woman
    But she was another man
All the girls around her say she's got it coming

I met a gin soaked, bar-room queen in Memphis,
She tried to take me upstairs for a ride.
