Just listen to the music of the traffic in the city
Linger on the sidewalk where the neon lights are pretty
    How can you lose?
The lights are much brighter there
You can forget all your troubles, forget all your cares and go .........

    Hi Toni,

It's Paranoid by Black Sabbath, one of my fave's. :D

    Sometimes I get the feelin
I was back in the old days - long ago
When we were kids when we were young
Things seemed so perfect - you know
The days were endless we were crazy we were young
The sun was always shinin - we just lived for fun
Sometimes it seems like lately - I just don't know
The rest of my life's been just a show

    Take care

This was BIG in the '90's, released in'1990 it didn't do too well, released in '93 and became mega and still gets air time in Radio ! from time to time

......and they were long and clear and there were lots of stars at night and when it rained they would all turn...... they were beautiful, the most beautiful skies as a matter of fact, the sunsets were purple and red and yellow and on fire.....

Maalox and nose drops and needles for knitting,
Walkers and handrails and new dental fittings,
Bundles of magazines tied up in string,
These are a few of my favorite things.

Cadillacs and cataracts ,and hearing aids and glasses,
Polident and Fixodent and false teeth in glasses,
Pacemakers, golf carts and porches with swings,
These are a few of my favorite things.

When the pipes leak, When the bones creak,
    When the knees go bad,
I simply remember my favorite things,
And then I don't feel so bad.

Hot tea and crumpets and corn pads for bunions,
No spicy hot food or food cooked with onions,
Bathrobes and heating pads and hot meals they bring,
These are a few of my favorite things.

Back pain, confused brains and no need for sinnin',
Thin bones and fractures and hair that is thinnin',
And we won't mention our short shrunken frames,
When we remember our favorite things.

When the joints ache, When the hips break,
    When the eyes grow dim,
Then I remember the great life I've had,
And then I don't feel so bad.

    Hi Toni,

Well they may have been on something.......... Right huge huge dance track, still played and one of the first to really kick off the chilled dance type thing.

The group is the name of a cylindrical ball........ and the song to do with things in the sky, especially 'you might see them in the desert'.

If nobody gets it soon I shall think of another one but my taste in music doesn't seem too well liked and yet its brilliant...... to me..... xx

    Hi Toni,

Your right with the Orb! No the desert is a red herring...... its the kind of things in the sky and the beauty of the ones over the desert...... You know they probably were on something!

I will happily count your chickens for you, now how many did you have 4 months ago and would you like me to hunt for the imaginary ones for an hour.........

Try this clue....... When something is young it is small (......), when I washed spoilt brat she went very bushy (.....) and the things that are multi coloured in the sky and never wanted grey! (......) xx
