Hi
Just a quick note to let you know I have had my hysterectomy op (eventually after last times cancellation!)
I had my op on Tuesday, and came home today. I am sore and tired, and a bit emotional but glad its over. My back is sore after the op and sleeping in awkward positons (well trying to!) but they have been careful with my hips. Which is good news as my THR was 1 year old on the day of my op!

Hi
Thanks for your messages. I am feeling a bit sore today, so planning to do very little.
Re op`s - 2 down 1 to go. I have to see the surgeon in April re my other hip and the PAO. I don`t feel like more surgery this year, but I will see what he advises. I should get a season ticket for `theatre`!!!
But after this I will be a new woman (I keep saying this, maybe I wil believe it eventually!)
I have a holiday booked in August, so I keep thinking about this to cheer myself up.
Have a good weekend x

Only just seen this NB. What a brave girl you are!!
Deal with "the here and now", and try not to think about future surgery until you have to. Keep focusing on that holiday instead.......Much love.....Ange.0 -

I hope you dont need another op on your hip yet, you seem to have had your fair share of hospitals for a while! Hope youre taking it easy, and Happy Birthday to your hip, doesnt time fly? take care jk

Hi NB
I think the first week after an op is tough with regards to sleeping.
Try and rest throughout the day. It'll get easier. There's no place like home though. The food was pretty grim in the hospital I was in!
Happy 1st Birthday for your THR!
Take care.
