hi guess i was one of the lucky ones cause i wanted to be a ballet dancer and i was for a few years until i was struck down with OA - been working as a secretary for last 10 years and would love to do something i really enjoy again.
i once knew a girl who was a sales rep for a chocolate company and had a car full of chocolate which is a bit like heaven!!

its funny all the dreams i had as a kid from being a nun to a forensic scientist and i ended up as a sales advisor in an electrical shop!!!!0

Its a good job you were not born in Russia the training regime is cruel they are force to bend in poses for a long time tummies pushed down further into pose for a long time and they are in agony and crying. I saw a program on it just awful :shock: :evil :sad: :eek::x

Yes I know all about the regime now. Only the toughest survived and that was part of the training philosophy.I enjoyed the hard work and was very focused but there is a fear factor you have to cross .I know of a few top gymnasts who had to retire due to injury, and Elena Mukhina, favourite for the gold medal in Moscow Olympics 1980 spent the rest of her life in a wheelchair due to a spinal injury she received in training a few weeks before the games.
