I hope the next bloods are OK too, Poppy. Keep resting. Keep positive. Thing of you very much.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I'm just back from my GP's, Ive had my blood test, he's going to ring me with my results this afternoon/evening to put me out of my suspense. I've followed my GP's advice this weekend and mostly stayed in bed (something that Im not very good at) so hopefully everything will be ok and the op will go ahead. Please, please can everyone think positive thoughts?! Thankyou all and hugs (((((()))))) Xxx'grá agus solas'

A truckload of positive thoughts are on their way as I type. My fingers & toes are all crossed. I hope your 'lazy weekend' has paid off, Poppy. You deserve it.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Definitely no wuss, Poppygirl, but you have my full permission to go into wuss mode for the next 36 hours, sit down, do nothing, get those white blood cells knocked into gear. Please don't take this as a sign that you can do even the most minimal of housework. Think shoulder and REST. (P.S. I'm very pleased.)If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Hi Poppy, great news with the results but I agree with sticky, do not be tempted to overdo things today.
Gentle hugs flower and you are definitely not a wuss but a very brave lady.

Thankyou so much Iris, Tony, Julie, Cris and Sticky,
I am a lot calmer today, thanks to yesterday and the blood test fiascoI'm looking forward to tomorrow and hoping against hope that it works and I'll have an end to the shoulder pain.
My sister asked me what it felt like, could I describe the pain? If you've ever suffered a tooth abscess it's like that except there are lots of them inside the shoulder, it has it's own heartbeat...
Roll on tomorrow Xxx'grá agus solas'
