Letter from Hospital

Hi Everyone


just got a letter from the hospital it says i am APCA POSITIVE .Can someone translate .Sorry for being stupid .

    anti-citrullinated peptide antibody (ACPA) positive looks like it a test for arthiritis was connected to ra but not sure if it only one??? some one will know good luck val

    ACPA = Anti-citrullinated protein antibody

    It is an auto-antibody commonly detected in the blood of individuals with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

    Hi its one of the newest tests giving a better indication of wether yu have erosive form or not of RA, a result of 60 or above is considered high and therefore erosive form of the disease, an they dont test for any higher than 250, which is 2wot my result was, , it gives them a much better indication of how to treat you now which helps layter on in life
