She has heard from the hospital; a throat swab has tested positive for influenza so that means anti-biotics. DD

    Mig,

I'm pleased that the "Drain Cleaner" has worked. Shame about the hair loss but it will grow back. You might get a change in colour!

I hope the antibiotics work on your influenza. Such a shame you've got that on top of everything else.

Just keep plodding on and take care.

I thought influenza was a virus and anti biotics wouldn't work with it. I was advised to have a flu jab before I started chemo.

    Mig,

    Lovely to hear from you.

I hope the flu disappears quickly, regardless whether it's A, B, or C version! I'm sure that it's making you feel even more poorly. Plenty to drink if you can, lots of vitamin C and fresh air may be the order of the day.

DD - thank you for continuing to keep us up-to-date.

    Take care,

Afternoon all, I haven't heard anything so I presume things are jogging along as nicely as they can. I think there's another week to go before the next bout of chemo - I'll confirm that after the weekend. DD
