Hi I'm new to the forum.
I was diagnosed with RA about 11yrs ago. I have now been told I also have osteoporosis in both knees. My right one is the worst as it's bone on bone. I have to lose a stone, more if I can before I go on the waiting list. Please any advice on losing weight would be much appreciated. Thanks x

Hi @Dogsathome1 - welcome to the online community!
You've had Rheumatoid Arthritis for a while, but are new to Osteoarthritis, and you'd like help with losing weight os you can have your operation.
Losing weight when you struggle to do exercise is definitely a huge difficulty. We have some advice on the best exercises to do with arthritis.
We also have a good section on diet and arthritis which includes information on weight loss and maintaining a healthy diet.
I'm sure some of our community members will be along to give their experiences and advice. Do have a look around the other discussions and join in with the others. I'm sure you'll find something which speaks to you 😊
It's lovely to meet you!
