    Thank you for posting on the Helpline forum. I am sorry to hear you have a problem with your back and I hope you are not experiencing too much pain.

    Spondylolisthesis is where one of the bones in your spine, known as a vertebra, slips out of position. It's most common in the lower back. Anterolisthesis is where the upper vertebral body slips forward onto the vertebra below. The grading refers to the amount of slippage. Level L5 is at the base of your lumbar spine.
