Frog poor you, the irony of needing to go round the house looking for your pills when you need them 😣 I do hope you found them or you felt better enough without, to go to Lucy's 🤞. Food bank was a bit of a bridge too far which is understandable - they are struggling according to the news so need all the help. No rain here but a drop later maybe, just when I want to go out, so I hope not - I made a twit of myself yesterday by being short a few pence at the local shop and they kindly let me owe it so I want to get it there asap. Came out after and had a very good look through my bag; found 10p, would you believe, 20 would have done it 😣. Too hot to go til later, yes it does irk me that it goes mad like this, one min your summer clothes are too hot, the next not warm enough, never perfect 🙄. I slept til 6 thanks had tea, then went off another bit, as it was quiet, unlike yesterday, tap on the door early & another in the evening, and the rest taken up by a chap cutting timber on a workmate on his drive, right over the road for hours - something wrong with doing it in your back garden?! Oh a lovely faster broadbean hole, now if someone comes to the door pushing one of those, finally something I would say yes to!! Perfect 😀 and think of the fibre!! 😂. You will love Stuart's garden when you catch up, I am very envious indeed 😍. Hope your day is going ok and Lucy is well, and Paul got back alright 😘 xx btw oops sorry about the lipfillers 😳 someone near me does them from home (true) & I thought why not (not likely!!) 😂

Hello Joan, no not many shops left, my Co closed and the rest aren't really walking distance, only at a push. The nearest is a Lid and even the supermarkets in the next town wouldn't be convenient they are out of the centre etc only good for drivers, except the Ms, I only buy a few fancy bits there if I go - it isn't really worth carrying groceries from the other shops when you can have them brought. I don't use the buses any more. I hope Brenda gets on ok with the advice from the physio, is it her back or general? Hope your day is going ok we may get rain but not much I will still have to water things 😘 xx

Good luck the mxt bosh 👍️ I have been chasing my meds all week because they were waiting on the hospital to reauth the prescription, hoped to sort it out by the messaging system etc but in the end this stuff always comes down to having to phone up, which I hate 🙄 they had such a super online chat system before, too, it worked perfectly 😔. I wouldn't say it was much cooler today maybe a bit more overcast. Sorry about your mum the heat doesn't help anyone's temper, hope it's something that fizzles out quickly. I will add my influence to Toni's where the gastric guys are concerned, for the unspecified event, although in general as well not just a special favour - a nice long untroubled run would be only fair 👍️. I absolutely love the ultra-fast broad bean hole 😂 genius, put me down for one. Thank you for the candid pic of my makeup efforts 😁 no wonder Beaker is looking suitably alarmed in the background, mind you better than the other pic 😱. I do have a pink toned lipstick called 'All Talk' in the new stuff, I think that may well be the one in the photo 😂. Take care hope you feel less tired :) xx

Stuart I love your garden and all your flowers, what beauties 😊 that is how I would like mine to be such nice 'heights' you have there in the borders. One side of my fences is a blue a bit like yours and my shed too, probably seen it in my pics 😀. Toni will be sorry she posted before seeing yours and missed them, she will love them. Morning frog, I'm on early slot for hah delivery, probably won't be at beginning of it but early enough that I definitely want to be up & trousered and not half awake, so cup of tea now and put this in draft probably. Will be glad to get my jabs, I had to ask nicely for a quicker delivery date than they pencilled me in for as had only just had prescription through from hosp. Hope you can get your pills repeated and then hopefully go back to not quite needing them, & can lose them all over again 😁 probably not, this time! Glad Lucy's was fine in the end and you had a nice visit ☕ and Paul back too 👍 Elfie was bursting with news I bet and talking 10 to the dozen 🤭. Yes I would love Stuart's garden, his planting looks just nicely established 😊. The bluey green fence suits that yellow (rudbeckia? 🤔) so nicely. No rain here & none whatever forecast - did all my watering, must do some actual work as well 😬. Yes I dropped off my few pence in the shop, different person there they probably had no idea what I was on about haha but glad to get it done, silly me. Used to be better organized when I went out more, always had things like an emergency £1 safely somewhere (back when £1 would do you bus fare home), but you get out of the habit. It was nice they let me off I did just say they could take an item back but probably more fiddly for them, to un-ring it up! Right well gone 5pm now - hah were round 9am, ideal, rest of day to myself in theory - workmate chappy had packed it in - but fear not, paving-stone-grinding painfully-slow project man was right there to take over the baton 🤪 midmorning til now; another day ruined thank you. No problem working for hours in this heat for them, apparently 🤷‍♀️. One day the worm will turn.. 🐛

Hello Joan, boiler is behaving nicely thank you 👍 chap will be back for a partial service in a few weeks so if it has any plans to misbehave again can it wait til then please 🤞😬. I have a little backpack you think it will spread the weight but it's still hard on your shoulders, dead weight, I'm not surprised about Brenda I don't carry much in mine it's just to save carrying 2 bags etc. Hope your day has been alright pleased to hear there are so many rosebuds in the offing 😊. I did about 80 miles today, by mistake really, as I went to see Ron after making solid plans and he’d gone off to do something else without telling me so had no choice but to ride back, and in that heat too. Was not a happy bunny. Was seriously rough when i got home even though i stopped on way back for a splash of fuel and a bottle of water. My legs were a bit burnt up from the engine heat too. Should have taken one of the Beemers (aircooled no fan). I even turned down a ride out this afternoon coz I couldn’t face getting back on bike, too much pain. ☹️

Morning Jojo how are you today? I am ok looking forward to our trip up North☺️ It will take somewhere around 4-5 hours from here with a stop for the loo. The sea I am going to see the sea😊 My friend lost her wife to cancer very quickly a couple of years ago she is 52 I think this time I got her a silly birthday [resent and we will treat her to a meal out tonight. I will also walk her yorkies on the beach.

I think your independent streak is a good one if you ever really need help your family will know that and should step in to help. Also your children are being brought up with a good work ethic.

Glad your Mum had a lovely visit from her friend (and her hungry husband!) and that your Dad was occupied too. That was very kind of you giving him a decaf coffee. Maybe he will reciprocate with an apple for his eldest daughter!

BR's quirky use of language is very interesting. I think he is going to be very bright too like his brother imagine such a little one using words like that very very nearly perfectly! Best to clean his teeth though and keep them!

Friends can be odd when they don't have time for you. I lost a very very close one years ago i don't think her husband liked how close we were. Today though we are travelling up to Newbiggin just for the night to see one of my friends for her birthday. You'll remember her wife dying a year or so back? I believe we should look after our friends.

I think the advantage of the café crew is that we all share one issue with pain so can relate when we have off days or even off weeks.

Sleek will be over later, cross, because we are away for the night visiting my friend in Northumberland for her birthday. It will be lovely to see the sea and play with the dogs. Tia will be feeding our girl.

What are they doing over the road? A block paved drive? They aren't too noisy at the Church (yet) it's pretty sound proofed inside I expect, but when they start digging outside the house to put the 💩 pipe in well that might be different.

Morning all 🌞 up early to put door in latch in case of catazon, well that's self-inflicted so is my lookout.

Will be thrilled to have Sleek while you are on your trip frog 😊 she can stay as long as she likes 😽. You & Paul & Elfie have a good drive up and hope your friend is well and the yorkies 👍 (predictive text just changed that to Tories! do I wish them well? hmm let me think .. 🤔). Say hello to the sea for me 😊 hope you get a nice breeze. Paving man is on the end here next but one, not across, working in his back garden (yard I should say 🙄) so I can hear him equally from everywhere front or back 😣. He's a builder of some sort so you'd think could knock off a job quicker than a DIY-er but no. The trouble with noise is the less rest you get because of it, the less able you feel to cope with the next lot 🤷. I half wish I'd kept a note of how many days there was significant noise but who wants to get into that sort of mindset, not me really. Good luck with your Church works, cometh the time 🤞. We'll see if I can get in the garden quietly today but it's the weekend what are the chances 🤪. Yes how does Stuart manage (and it's just Mum, isn't it? I think) as you say, do what you can when you can I expect and good choice of plants. Should take stock myself I think as to next jobs, if my shed & fence need a new coat of whatsit/preserver yet etc. Am currently doing up my back door frame inside and managed to paint the bit of wall nearest to it the wrong colour (have 2 very similar colour pots of paint and labelling them properly is beyond me apparently - I'm not even sure I haven't done the same thing before 😂).
