Just diagnosed and feeling dreadful, everything hurts. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Last year I was running 5K 3 times per week. Now I’m aching all over, and struggle with a slow 10 minute walk 😢

    Hello @jooolz,

Welcome to the online community, we are so happy to have you here and I hope you feel comfortable and supported here.

I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis and the pain that is coming with it. Going from being able bodied to limited in moving is really difficult. I went through this after my diagnosis with rheumatoid arthritis so I completely understand.

I have linked some informative below about PMR which I hope can be of some assistance to you.

Please feel free to continue to share with us over your journey.

    Best wishes,

    Olivia x

thank you so much Olivia. I’ve been prescribed Alendronic acid but I’m frightened to start taking it because I’ve already been taking omeprazole for years due to ongoing battles with gastritis. Do you know if any polls on Alendronic acid have been done on this forum?

Hello @jooolz we don't do polls on the forum on particular medications. However if you search the community you will find a number of discussions on this, see below link
