Psoriatic arthritis
Hi 👋 it's been a while since I've posted. I wanted to ask about nails. I used to have strong long fingernails but recently cut the shorter due to them becoming brittle and crumbling. My thumbnail has started to become discoloured with thickening and vertical ridges. I was wondering whether there is anything I can do to…

Words of encouragement
"As we embark on the labyrinthine paths of pain, let us first acknowledge the intricate tapestry of our shared experiences. I have arthritis in my hips, knees and shoulder apparently (personally I think there is something else going on,…

The time has wheely come
The time has come, I think, to use my wheelchair as a matter of course rather than just long family days out. I have, among many other things, tricompartmental OA of both knees as well as pseudogout, and they are incredibly painful, but I manage with crutches, stubbornness, and a healthy dose of swearing under my breath.…
