Time I wasn't here

Hi Vonski
It is to be expected that you will have set backs until your medication is sorted. I hope you will soon get some positive results from your GP.
I think I have done too much today, my hands are killing me now. Will have to get the ice packs out of the fridge.
I was going to ask you to send me the address of your family, so I can go and sort them out for you. :x
When I get mad >>>>>>>>>> it sounds like they need a good shaking. Even the response from my own daughter is, "Well my mother in law has it, she just gets on with it". The difference being is that she has private health insurance and can get A1 treatment at the press of the button and I have to wait for mine, like every one else here.
Anyway, let us know how you get on. I'm off to get my TENs m/c and ice packs. I was wearing my splint, but my hand is still very swollen. Wish I could hear from my consultant about the electro??tests. whatever they are. I need action, now.

I have had this bloody disease since I was aged 2 years old, and to be honest there are days I don't want to get up as I am in so much pain. I have had many ops over the years and always have a bad time with ops, as my arthritis complicates them.
I lost a fit healthy sister at 4 months old when I was 5 years old and couldn't roll over in bed, walk or feed myself. It took 30 years for my poor mum to come off sleeping tablets after losing Lindsay, her life was not easy, she was a single parent bringing me and my brother up, and my disability caused her a lot of sleepless nights. Then on June 4th 2000 we had a knock at the door, my 34 year old brother had been stabbed to death, a healthy young man with 3 children, who loved life, how to this day my mum is still alive is beyond me, I never knew pain until we lost Joey, when I feel down and sorry for myself, my mum always says stop moaning the cemetry's are full of people who would love to be here, and how right she is. We are all on this earth for a reason, I know your feeling low, we all go through it, but there are a lot of people a lot worse off than us, it may not feel like it, but it's true. Take care and stay strong.0 -
Hi Vonski
I've only just read this post and it's got me worried too now. I didn't know you were feeling so low.
I'm sorry you have such a cruel family, IMHO, If they can't give you any support, your better off without them. They are raising your stress levels and increasing your pain. so, dump em! I'm a firm believer of 'What goes around, comes around.'
Yvonne, I've seen your feet, and I can't begin to imagine how much they must hurt. So, you have every right to feel like you do. Now, you've hit "Rock bottom." the only way is up.
Hopefully, this appointment with the Rheumy, might be a turning point for you getting the right treatment, They can prescribe painkillers fo you too. We're all rooting for you Vonski.
Love and a hug.

Well what can I say, I've been laying low all day, felt a bit stupid after my post yeterday! It was a moment of weakness, madness or both and I'm sorry to have put it all on you good people. I will be back under control, a bit like a mad dog
I really appreciate your posts and cried my eyes out when I read them. It came as a surprise as I didn't expect more than a couple or replies so thank you so much. It means such a lot.
Thank you too for your pms, I haven't read them all yet but I will and I will reply to each one of you.
I'm also going to get my act together and make the Dr tell me why RA has been on my notes for years with no treatment? Whenever I ask they just say they don't know.
Thanks again, hope you are all wellish
Love
