Hi Toni, did you say sunshine? It's been so long, I might not recognise it! It would be good, though, I might get a half hour outside to clear up some of the snow damage. It looks so messy out there.

    HI folks,

just popped in for a hot chocolate and a gossip ......... been a quiet one today has it?

We been doing sorting out today - taken heaps of cardboard to the recycling, & shopped in the rain :( and cleared out a cupboard ..... only got stuck sitting down on little stool and hubby had to act as my crane

littlelegs made it very clear this morning that she was most definitely not going to go out for a walk in the rain :lol::lol::lol::lol: I got in the car to go shopping & hubby tried to walk past taking her on her walk, and she sat down by the car and said in no uncertain terms that she was not going any further. We got her into the car, and then we went shopping - have you ever played tag shopping? Hubby went for first lot, then when she got back I got to go out in the rain ...... the funniest bit was how steamed up the car was when I got back with a dog and a very wet hubby into it!:lol::lol::lol:

what's everyone been doing today than?[/i]

Hi, Wonky, we've been sorting today as well, 'cos we're moving in 3 months, woo-hoo! We are attempting to get a quart into a pint pot and it's just not possible....................but I can be absolutely ruthless and keep only what I like! Trouble starts 'cos I can't take everything I like.

Unfortunately I will have to take OH, I will need him for the decorating (only joking (I think)).

Can I borrow some of your will power then please?

I find it tough to throw anything out    but unless we win the lottery we can't move to a bigger house, so needs must - we are falling over stuff everywhere and I am fed up of it!!

trying to find a home for everything we use, and to get rid of the things we don't use, but so hard to do ........

I usually find myself saying 'it might come in useful ..... '

wow - hope your move goes well ...... I didn't enjoy moving, other htan finding this lovely town and feeling much more settled here - the actual move was a nightmare ..... but we survived

Yes, I admit that I'm usually one of those 'it might come in useful' types, but we had a grand clearout some 8 years ago when our youngest daughter finally got married and (nearly) stopped using us as an hotel.

That's helped, because it means we have absolutely nothing in the attic at all! We got all that down at that time (including the wooden cot our eldest daughter was in; more than 40 years old).

Just as well, don't think either of us could get up there now!

You should have got the sledge out, Val, and hired it out! You could have made all your holiday money in the last couple of weeks.

Right, since everyone seems to be putting a cunning plan into operation in the war room, I had better clean up around here, and then toddle off to bed.

Have put a low light under this pan of soup in case anyone comes in - cris and CHris may be in later if they have any energy left after their escapades yesterday. Hope you both recovered?

Trisher - I never knew a wheelchair could be so versatile!! please pop round tomorrow to peel my spuds

    night night all
