Hello, val, snowball, annie (hope dentist goes OK) Barbara and Chris (thanks) Joan, nice to see you Rehab, Toni and Cris.
Trisher, Hope you managed to get some rest. Prob when you can't sleep. you tend to get tense which in turn, hurts your joints more.
    Hope you feel better.
Wulfstan, I think you had better have an invite to my BBQ in June, when all my Norwegian friends come. They all appear between 6 & 7 ft tall, but a new friend of theirs is joining them called Kare who is the proper stererotype Norseman, Huge, blonde hair and beard. Send my a PM if you want to come. The thing is, all scandinavian woman are good looking too, and I am only 5.3.
Scan went well, painlessly really. The painful bit is waiting for the result. She said that they would write to me and gp will get a copy. I don't see my consultant until August I don't think it is a rheumy problems actually.
Now, I need a really big buildas now. Bit thirsty after all that.
I won't have anything to eat. Still feeling a bit sick.

We had a blizzard to drive through on way to hospital. Had my blood test done while I was there.
Snowball, Do you take your folic acid 24 hrs after your MTX. That should stop the side affects, nausea, headaches. I do get these sometimes, but soon goes.

Evenin' all! Chris, are there any Wonky hugs spare? A nice warm one would go down a treat.........Berty, I'll join you, make mine a double valium builders with a couple of buckets of energy thrown in and in a couple of hours I'll be tickety-boo again.

Joy, glad it went well, do hope they don't keep you waiting long for the results. I think it took about 10 days for mine to come in.

I fell asleep again quite unintentionally and I am freezing cold and stiff as a board now..........I'll loosen up in a minute.

Come on Wonky, I've poured your Builda for you and left a nice comfortable place by the fire.
When I have finished mine, I am going to have a nice long hot soak in the bath and then I want to come down and watch 'My Sangri La' with Sue Johnston. It's on a bit late but I just love Tibet and the Himalayas.

I feel it only right to inform you that on Saturday my valiant husband fought a courageous fight with our steam generator in order to successfully iron 12 shirts :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I was very rude on here about his first attempts, and it is only right that I give credit where credit is due ......... mind you now I know he can do it there is no excuse for him expecting me to iron the ******** things any more :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Evenin all,

Joy, I`ve been thinking about you today, hoping all would go well for you. I think it will, you know.

Wulf, what a good lad you are, someone has trained you well.

I`m feeling completely shattered, and thinking that work is going to have to be given some very serious thought. Maybe cut right back.

For now, a hot chocolate, and a nice warm by the fire.

    Hey Joy,
I'd be glad to come to your BBQ in June, Norse, Old Norse that is, and Old English are very similar, they both have their roots in Germanic history

    Wulf.
Hey that good. As soon as I get their schedule, let you know. Depends on how far you might have to travel though. Northamptonshire?
And then we sail on the 21st from Harwich. 4 whole weeks. fantastic.

Well, it's said that sleep's a healer right enough. It's definitely not nice if you can't get any 'cos you're sore.

    Wulf

When I was first married and we lived next door to a lovely old couple, they gave me lots of advice with my daughter when she was born. As you know littleones are always up and down poorly one minute, well the next. She always told me that sleep was the best healer. Trouble is, when your bones don't bend like littleones, it gets harder.

I will refer to the'embuggarance factor' at my next meeting tomorrow, where no doubt I will once again cross sword with a bunch of pompous, lentil eating, tree hugging bearded individuals who wear socks with sandals and leather patches on the arms of their corduroy jacket, and the blokes are just has bad!

Nothing wrong with lentils in their place; it's the round, opaque, hollow but full of gunge pearl barley types I find most difficult.

    I just love Scotland Wulfstan

The last time we came 2 years ago, I ended up in Inverness Hospital. Had a virus just shortly before Polymyalgeria Rheumatica manifested itself and it turned to Plurisy or something. I think I must have gone through something like Annie has just gone through because I had to start taking a large amount of Preds 40 mg I think, after I was hooked up to a machine for a couple of days. All a blur really now. Mind you, we had just done a tour of Ireland a few days before, then headed home for a couple of days and then headed off to take one of my pictures to someone in Inverness.
