A large builders please to follow my wonderful Valentine's Day lunch out - it is a horrible day here, heavy sleet and rain alternating and we both chose the roast beef with all the trimmings (sorry Cris).

The pub/restaurant we go to has a large open fire and is within walking distance even for me.................lovely meal, glad to be back and indoors again, though.

The conversation wasn't exactly romantic - we seemed to spend most of the meal discussing either my next Rheumy visit or mulching fruit trees!

I'm here Barbara doing the evening meds and having my tea........I'll have a large builders to go with it and some of that lovely marmalade pudding with custard.

Mmmm, you know, Barbara, I have been considering the cat rather thoughtfully.............all of a sudden she's started shedding loads (she's always moulting to a certain extent, but it's coming out in clumps) and just lately she's been quite kittenish.........considering she's pushing 16, that's quite a feat.
I've been wondering if she knows something I don't........and hoping!

Good evening all, my son has lent me his lap top as i can't get down stairs arthurs having a party in my knees and feet. Hope evryone is ok, i would love a drink and i have a huge chocolate cake if anyone wants some.

just to let you all know will be watching the winter olimpics so might not be on much for a while will pop in but not as often so do not worry . feel free to raid the fridge as much as you wish will stock up so will not run out of anything . do you like the extra sofas near the fire so you can all sit down together. off to bed now sleep well all val

HI Val, Trisher, CHris, annie, joan, Julie, Cris & anyone I've missed who snuck in whilst I wasn't looking

I am feeling really stuffed ........ no room for chocolate cake :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: as did a huge roast pork, with roast taties & stuffing & sticky beetroot & red cabbage ...... followed by chocolate beetroot brownies (can you tell what hadn't been used from my veg box this week yet? )

help yourself to the beetroot brownies ... .really rich, gooey and sickly, but calorie free on here at least

Been busy day and I am feeling it now ....... like some of you I pushed it today to make it a nice day. Horrid outside though

Littlelegs is looking a lot better ... she has had 4 small meals and all is well. (joan the grass she eats is usually for two reasons ... either to be sick like you say :oops: - which she hasn't done - or to clear the whole system through .... seems that was her purpose this time :roll: but still not sure )

I'm not that worried at all after seeing her today .... she obviously feels a lot better, has had 2 short and one long walk, and well she is settled and has had a cuddle or three, so all is well

I might get another night of sleeping lightly as last night I was listening for every move she made just in case she needed to go out PDQ !!! :roll: :roll: :roll:

how are you Trisher .... has the pain gone now? Are you still getting two visits from the nurses? that's good service I think
