I could do with a bucket full now Trish.....have slowed down considerably.......
Very quiet here tonight, will have another builders and chill out for 5 mins........
Talking of chill.......now that I've found 2 others who don't like ice cream is there anyone out there who doesn't like chocolate flavour?
I will eat milk chocolate (quite often) but I loathe anything chocolate flavoured, biscuits, cakes, puddings, whatever........anyone else? I think it's because cocoa was forced on me as a child and I never liked it.....

I am feeling very strange at the moment. Have had to leave OH in hospital for his treatment and not sure until 5 p.m. whether he will have to stay in overnight. Hoping not.
There is such an emptiness in the house. I know he has gone out before and left me on my own,but I know he will be back in either 1/2hr or 1/2 hours, but this time. And I drove the car back on my own, first time I have driven on my own for 12 months. Then went and did the shopping on my own. So quite a bit of confidence back doing that. My hands and wrists hurt like mad though.
So I've come in to celebrate with a doughnut and a large builda's

Hi Joy
You did gud
Cup of tea and abuilders coming up
You should be proud of yourself and he will be home very soon

Hi Joy, Toni - and Jean........rather fancy gold wincyette myself!
Joy, I hope you are OK and that hubby is home now. Do let us know how he gets on.
I need a builders, too.....been grappling all day with insurance companies. Have any of them got any employees who speak English? I suppose that's a bit too much to ask when they are in Bombay or Calcutta or the Black Hole or wherever.
In fact I also need a cream bun or two............or a custard doughnut would go down well!

Sounds ideal, Val.......I find the ruffles tickle and get in my ears.
Don't know what's gone wrong with the weather but am sweating buckets tonight..........good job no-one can see what I'm wearing.
It's raining anyway.......maybe I'm on meltdown.

Well it looks like I am on my own tonight.
First time in 15 years.
We went in this morning as instructed and we were sure OH was going down to theatre first because staff nurse told us.
He then didn't go down until about 4 30 p.m. Because he was the last down, he has to stay overnight even though he had local anaesthetic. Op took over 1 1/2 hours too. When I got to hospital about 6 p.m. his bay was empty. what a shock. Funny thing though, just in case I packed a bag with his things.
I think I shall go and get all my ironing done and then bed. so tired.
Do some catching up first I think.
