Do we have a menu, or do I just order my sausage and egg roll :)

    Hi Bubbles

No we only want to say hello and welcome. You can have whatever you like to eat or drink.

We don't bite........no nasty words have ever been mentioned in here everyone is everybodies friend too.

    Trish xx

Thank you, I feel most welcome already and I have no time for nasty words, it takes too much energy and effort.

The rope ladder must be an escape route, not meaning to pry on other people's conversations, but I cannot think of any other use. Nor can I imagine every being able to get up or down one

    I have got it.

She is in to snake charming.

Perhaps, the easy thing to do would be to ask her what it was for. How long have they been married.

OOPPPs  Bubbles I'm sorry, I forgot to put the kettle on.

all this talk of rope ladders, got me trying to guess why would your MIL send a rope ladder as an aniversary present????

I can only think of a fires escape, have you seen them, they are ok but not to anyone is bigger than a child, I should think.

She has not got a secret things about fireman has she?

She sent it by mistake :(

She is a secret snake charmer and it is her way of letting the family know?

Worry not, the brew has arrived, (courtesy of OH), bless. I have seen the rope ladders that hook onto your bed or something like that and then you climb down to safety. Mmmm, not totally convinced by that, I think the bed and wall would come with me.....

ROFL, me too - I cannot even envisage me trying, thank goodness we live in a bungalow, mind you, I would need two stong men and a wheelbarrow to get me through a window.
