    Afternoon one and all - I will have a very quick cuppa, then I too must rest up a while, been up since silly o clock and am fading fast. Have to be up for Lark rise, it's the last one :shock:

    Hi Everyone

    I'm running in old time :oops: Yes forgot and it is hard to change your meds all of a sudden.

    It was a busy night, one minute I was alone doing something, the next I had company.

    Jan, please be careful with lappy.

    No one about, so will have a coffee and a sticky bun and sit in the corner with my book. Have closed the windows, looks like rain is coming again.

    Jan good to see you have not lost your sense of humour...I have just made some sticky toffee pudding if anyone wants any...I will put it in the fridge..with a jug of really thick custard
    Oh and I have become a butterfly for spring :)
    Trish I know what you mean about old time....it was 10 o'clock before I remembered.

    mmmmmmmmm thanks Barbara no I was awake most of the night I hadbad phatom pains, plus my ear and jaw. I have not got earache, it is my ear itself and the pain goes to my neck and jaw.

    When the phatom pains start well my legs jump about, the meds I take are good but I do get attacks of it and when it is bad, it is bad.

    I think I'm falling to pieces.

    Awww trish..I wish I could help....I have heard about the phantom pain.....have you seen your gp about the pain in your jaw..I have had neuralgia pain in my face and ear ..how did you go on with the wheat cushions I told you about

    Sorry never saw you there. How was work, busy???

    Last night I was in my wheechair, I had my Hospital handbag on it, suddenly my appointment card fell out, Hubby said to me when is that Hand therapy due. We looked at it and we think it is for tomorrow but the writing is bad you cannot see if it is the 3rd month or the 5th.

    Will have to ring in the morning.

    The wheatbags are very good. My conusltant knows about my jaw and ear it is arthur in my jaw. Im waiting for the referal to the hospital's Dental Clinic.

    I've had a really good day today, the rain held off for me to start a major project outside and now I can plan a little ahead for the next few days.

    Hi Annie

    No I still have the phatom pains, gosh they do go when they go it's a mixture of nerve pain but all over the place .

    The only way to descibe it is like lightening, are you with me, when you see lightening strike you get the fork going in all different ways, well it is like that inside your legs.

    You also have what feels like someone pushing something inside your legs which is really hot.

    I have not missed an appointment, we thought it is either /3/2010 or /5/2010
    you cannot make out if it is a 3 or a 5 but I think it is tomorrow. We are going to ring early morning to find out.

    I can understand that about the phantom pains, Trish. If I get neuralgia on the affected side of my face it's as if a thick needle has been pushed into it - sudden stabbing pains.

    They must be a nightmare for you. Does it generally last a long time?
