Doesn't look like anyone is around.
At least I've managed toget in a bit earlier this morning.
I'll have a go at milking marigold. Never done it before. Now my beauty.

Think I will have a cuppa first. It is so cold this morning.
Just noticed that my daffs growing in the lawn havebeen knocked down. I expect the boys have done that (OH calls them termites). Perhaps he is right. I'm not one to bother because our garden is not so neat and tidy with every blade of grass is the same height, each flower in the right place. I'm just relieved if anything should grow at all. Our garden is made for children to play in.
especially hide and seek, they love it. Now marigold, you are finished. Now, outside for a bit of a brush and you will look lovely. Perhaps you need your easter outfit on.
Just looked out of the window, again. birds are feeding on the seed out there. we have various bird feeders around the trellis and we love to see them. Our family of blue tits have taken up residence again. It's so cold outside this morning. only 5 degrees.
Now, I have washed up and changed the table clothes. daffs in the vases and the floor is cleaned. I am going to finish my breakfast and get into town. Got to get ready for my son and the family again. Choc bunnies and easter egg hunt tomorrow.

    see you all later.

    Morning delboy.
I didn't see you come in. I was so busy doin the floor. Yes I will stay for some bacon and egg. Have we got some black pudding. Love it. Shouldn't eat it really, but I need the energy today.

Hope the others have had a good night. I certainly did.
Just had to take a couple of para's last night with head hurting but that's all. Legs were still aching from all that walking the day before.
I am off shopping now. see you later

A full English and a builders, and then off for a walk (in my case a hobble) for an hour. The sun is shining, but 15 minutes ago rain was coming down in stair rods.

Place looks lovely, Joy, really bright and cheerful. Marigold looks very comfortable, too.

Good morning to each and everyone of you, and my hope is for a Very Happy Easter for all,

I`ve brought you each a special Angel pin, in your own birthstone, to look after you. There`s one for us all. Also, some C**bury`little eggs - creme or caramel. I`m a caramel guzzler myself.

Did all my heavy shopping online, but nipped out this morning for a few bits. Is there some possibiity of an invasion that I know nowt about? Most people had two, and occasionally three bloody, big trolleys. Duh...... they are open again on Monday.

Another thing I noticed where queues, here and there. Now, I can`t resist a queue, and used to get teased rotten by Frank. One time it was Asda selling off lovely baquettes for 1p, and other recently baked breads. He loudly informed my friend that I
was in the bread queue, then proceeded to sing We`ll Meet Again, and more war songs til he had everyone joining in. Good laugh was had by all - well, of a certain age.

Del, please can I have what you`re having. As they say in Lancashire "That looks reet gradely bacon lad". And a builders in a pint pot...........Ange.

Just got back from town and the butchers. Ready for tomorrow and family coming.
Bought myself a trolly on wheels to help but all it does, when full, is drag on my back and it hurts my hand and wrist pulling it.

I have thought about shopping on line, but when I see the 'shoppers' going round in tesco, they just pick anything up, doesn't matter about the condition. I do like to choose my own I must admit. Also, they don't bother about any special offers.
When I cannot walk anymore, I shall think about it.

Was going to get some more easter eggs, but think I have got enough. There is one of each for everyone.
Now for a coffee and a long sit down. I shall leave some of my jobs for later.
I shall have another two days next week looking after the grandchildren before they go back to school. While son and dil(2) are going through a bit of bad time, I shall be there for them.

After the winter we have had it has cause a terrible burdon on the finances. Dreading the fuel bill and what about petrol? My car is nearly ready to go back on the road, but I shall have to get the insurance back on line again, then MOT it. Luckily I get free road tax, that helps. But then there is the fuel. Can't afford days out anymore.

Hi Joy i tried a trolley on wheels thought it would be better but all it did was hurt my back shoulders and wrists, you still have to lift them up at some point. Doesn't help that there so big you cram everything into it, my grandma had mine but i haven't seen her using it yet.
Right time for a cup of tea and a bacon butty(good job its not real  ).

    Hi Alex, and welcome.

You can certainly have that massive cup of choccy and large choccy cake, as long as I can join you.

This is turning out to be a good day!!
