Hi Val, Julie, Joan... hi to Bubbles for later and hi to anyone else looking in!

Hope you have all had good days!

Have popped in for a builders, pleased to say am still feeling heaps better today but getting a bit frustrated - so afraid of overdoing things that I keep stopping and starting and it seems to take ages to get anywhere.

Been a lovely day to look at.....but the wind is still cold, wish it would go home to Siberia.

Will have a quiet five mins just to drink the tea and watch the birds having supper before I go back to my endless lists of 'things to do'.

Evening Julie, Val, Annie, Trish.......sleep well if you have gone to bo's. Sorry to hear about your Brother Julie. I can sympathise with the heart things and angiogrammes, having had seven, if there is anything you need to know I hope I can certainly offer moral support.

I slept fine, the OH tried to have a nap and then the neighbours decided to take down a galvanised shed  which didn't go down too well. I was away in la la land, snoring my head off apparently  Grumps over now, will potter and make something nice to eat, well, move it from fridge to cooker. I am doing well so far, made T and brought the milk carton in instead of the T, there you go dear.......... "thanks very much, where's the T"? When I wake up I will be dangerous. !! XX best go see what is happening.

Thought I would have a little sweep round while it is quiet, freshen things up a bit and fill the kettle and coffee machine. Tables looking nice, polished the cruets, tin full of cakes, buns with cherries. Done the loo's too, all bleached top to toe.

Well, I`m absolutely sick! Had someone out today to give me a quote for a new boiler. Apparently, the whole bloody system will have to be re-placed - ten radiators! - because, as it`s an older house, the pipework will not marry up with a modern boiler. Every single room is going to be upside down at the same time, and will be for five days. I don`t know if I can face it, and may just keep the old boiler. But then, I have the worry of it possibly packing up in the middle of next winter. As I said, I`m sick.

Oh well, I`ll have a caramel choux bun, and a hot chocolate, sit by the fire, and have a think..........Ange.

OH Ange that really is sick-making.
    special hugs for you ((((((((((((()))))))))))))))

As someone who had their old boiler condemned by the bloke doing the annual service one late (and extremely cold) October I can say that it is no fun having to make snap decisions and then sort out finance etc in a hurry.

Mind you that was only a new boiler because they used the radiators, but my dad had to have the whole system done like you ..... and it did certainly involve every room.

take your time to weigh up the pros and cons and make a decision then ...... only you can know what is right for you ..... but don't do what I did and try to move everything on your own

    loads of hugs

EEEK, boilers and central heating, always a scary time if things go wrong. Turning the house upside down, oh dear, I would have to leave for a while. New boiler might be a good option though, with guarantees and such..... oh dear, I will have a choux bun with you and chocolate and maybe another bun.

I suppose I`m lucky in that I`ve got through the last awful Winter, and can now take my time to decide what to do. Once I get over the shock, I`ll cope, and the lads will help. OMG.....Chom! I forgot about her. Oh, well, the more , the merrier.......Much love....Ange.

Here you go my Little Cornish Piskie, two choux buns, one caramel, one chocolate. Right, now where`s me cream?

Are you still feeling sick with the Folic Cris? Any sign of the foal putting in an appearance yet? I was looking at the one from last year. It never fails to move me to tears..........Much love.......Ange.
