I truly know what you are going through, having been there, many times, it is a shock, for all. Medication is excellent these days, taking more pills than I care to mention, but, they all have a purpose and work well. I know my heart condition is long term and chronic, but beta blockers work very well, as do the ones to lower the heart rate. It is best to know now, than carry on oblivious to there being anything wrong, like countless people do. I hope that doesnt sound blaze', it isn't meant to in any way.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

I do indeed. You can natter to me about cardiac treatment and care till the cows come home.
Today, well,
Doctors appointment, changes in medications, wants blood tests for inflamatory arthritis and other rheumy tests, more pills for neuropathy/pain. Reduced one drug, he said it was that which was causing me to be a wee bit potty in the night, with my lamp throwing  which he thought was a tad dangerous, no kidding. Now the new pills I am unsure about, especially with my cardiac history and all the other darned pills I take and the various interactions.......anyway, he said they would be ok.......you just have to go with it sometimes, although I am getting in a lather about it. I am sure it will be ok.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

Bless, OH moved into spare room a while back as I snore like a warthog  so couldn't sleep anyway, let alone be clonked with a bedside lamp, lol. Have had two heart attacks now, first one I was 32. Take 30 pills a day, as I was telling Trish the other night. That in itself gets you down, no wonder I don't know if I am on this earth or fullers..........yes, time for a big cup of T.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

Yes, it was and it changed me as a person too, not to a bad person, just different. Had another 5 years after that, a big one. two stents, seven angiogrammes, stents now blocked off and too complex to treat with angio's, so, rattle I certainly do  I made the mistake of reading the letter my cardiologist sent to the dla the other week, gave copy to Gp today, he said, "not good reading is it" no, for sure, but, I am still here.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
right, all good people, I am well and truly medicated and will bid you all goodnight, sleep well, flowers are fresh in the vases, heating is on, for those who call in overnight, extra wheaties and buckets of hugs and energy, all ready for use.
