    Am waiting for a text from Cris - she should be free soon - at the weekend, when she's recovered ,shall we open the cane and able and all get a bit sozzled....????

    I am having a jab in my bursa again - better work thsi time....we have a new GP who specialises in arthritis :shock: He did my Ex MILs and it worked so I am going to give it a go..... :wink:

    Hey how many valium shall I take?? Doesnt say got about 15 2mg ones.....

    Just take two, that should relax you. Always remember it will be over soon, if you tell yourself that all the time well ....you will be right wouldn't you. I will come with you and give you some oxygen if you need a wiff or two. :D

    All that talk about enlarged veg :shock: I had to find out if it was reall :lol: so I looked in a tv mag and there was one on.

    Desperate for a large builders...........will have to give in and go to bed soon, been a long day and another one tomorrow. All going well - at the moment, anyway.

    Glad you survived another day, I will need a lie down when this week is over, what a week poor Cris has to be sorted then it is her birthday as well, she is not up to celebrate it.

    Annie moving and she is here there and everywhere, Then I see giant vegtables what a week.

    A large coffee and a sticky bun with a cherry on the top, that will sort me out.

    hi trisher had good day and they can be 19ft but a lot of it the root that they grow in sand strange people these giant veg people saw some the other year growing them in drain pipe filled with sand ??? why?????

    It might be that no little creatures nibble on them worms and such. After all would you like your big carrot that you have nutured through a whole year to have a hole ot two in it????

    Aha just though yes it did hurt for those who are going to ask, it is to protect the roots, if the root is nibbled perhaps the vegtables don't grow as big.

    There was a parsnip as well but it was big but you know the bit on the end of the parsnip well he had decorators tables well the root stretched a couple of lenghts of those.
    If itr was root surely that should not count.

    yes and my mate we meet up once a fortnight and natter and have breakfast used to go to keep fit together but can not do it now so this our way of keeping in touch. they do measuse root and all it all counts in the lenth there tomatoes all have to be same size and no marks it beyond me lol right off to get some beauty sleep i an old lady now lol (49) not sure where the years have gone

    I see large vegetables are back. :shock: It's a bit like That's Life, with rudey potatoes and such things that people sent in.

    HI All,

    sorry only a quick pop in tonight :oops: to see you all cos it's been a busy day and am worn out from looking at birds :D:D:D

    even saw a skylark close at hand :D:D:D and it was fab to see

    No puffins though :( but maybe next time.

    Hopefully will be in tomorrow after I've been seen by the rheumy nurse. Have had to send hubby to deputise at a church meeting tomorrow .... I should have been doing the minutes but he offered bless him!

    Bubbles - you were so right the other night about the lactulose .... pharmacist said no more than a year after being opened :shock: :shock: :shock: so no wonder it didn't work when it was from 2007 :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: Got some more now ...... must take some :roll: :roll: :roll:

    large cuppa to take my meds with ta and then I must go to bed.
