    Bubbles

It was on a Free view as I was not on the big telly one of the programmes on there,

He was growing a veg I did not get the name of it but he had it growing up the side of the house. It was half way up and had not finished growing.
His cabbages well two men carried them.[/quote]

Goodness me. Mind you, if I tried to get out of a bath, it would take two strong men and a wheelbarrow

LOL, t'is true, a fair while back, I decided, in my infinate wisdom, that a soak in the bath would be lovely, well, it descended into chaos and it was like launching a beached whale back out to sea, could I get out of the bath, could I buffalo. In the end, we managed it and it was NOT a pretty sight. I was exhausted, OH was pooped and I was in agony for days

Showers only and not without OH being around as I tend to launch myself in and out. Plus I cannot get to see to my feet. I could go in the pool, we have one on the park, but am wary of falling on wet floors, it would be nice to have the water support you and just wallow about.

"pants" is not good Julie, lots of T and sympathy on the way. Plus tissues and olbas oil to clear the head.

Slow going this morning, it is after 11 and I am just starting to come round, feel like I have been shot in the back and my head replaced with hollow fibre. Apart from that  Will finish my decaf and potter around a bit. If I sit, I will be asleep in no time and I have not been up that long.

    Hi Anyone

Must have a coffee been playing on the swing. That takes me back to my younger days.

Right, I was in another room and had the Freeview telly on. It was a programme on there.

I do not watch a lot of tv so I will try and remember what station it was. I never put it on. I just happend to see his veg. I also saw his onions too
The best way to describe them is one of those hoppy balls with two ears that is about the right size. They were carrying them in wheelbarrows to take the to the show.

Can you imagine trying to cut that up for a stew. Wonder if it would make your eyes water more than normal.

I think it was about how they grow them and how the look after them so they grow bigger.
The lady let him grow something up the back wall of their house it was past the second floor window, it was surrounded by wood so I did not see what was there but it was big. It might have been turnips.

    Honest I did see these.

    Thanks Toni

All I know is this programme was on it must have been a documetary channel. It was on Freeview as I was upstairs and they showed this man who had grown a carrot which measured 19 ft.

He was getting ready to take his veg to an exhibition and he wanted to win prizes for them. He never had a day off looking after them Christmas Day was a work day as well.
He won 8 prizes in total, he got certificates for each one. The carrot was the biggest one. I wonderd if they ever put them on Frosty the Snowman until Val told me she never puts a nose on her Snowmen. The shame, oh dear how can you make a snowman and not give him a nose.

How can he sneeze? What if he gets a cold he cannot blow his nose. What does he do? Let it build up and then wait until he explodes into a thousand bits of snow???Poor Frosty.
