    afternoon all!

    well it has been a lovely day so far .... although it is really too hot for my poor body, and littlelegs is sounding a bit steam-train-ish as she tries to keep cool :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    did a bit of retail therapy this am - did the usual shop but treated myself to a 'new' handbag in shocking pink :shock: :lol::lol: I never thought I'd be buying a pink anything, let alone a handbag, but it was only £3.50 in the hospice shop and well it will look better than the black one I use all the time come rain or shine :wink:

    hubby didn't moan ...... mind I did buy him some burgers, buns & salad so guess you know what's for tea! :lol::lol::lol:

    had our lunch out in the garden - after he had been in the loft for the parasol, cushions, fans etc :lol::lol: and it was lovely for a change, but got too hot.

    going to catch up on a few things indoors and go out again when the sun is not on the back so much.

    huge bucket of tea please ...... and maybe a side order of iced water for littlelegs :wink:

    Afternoon all, hope everyone is as ok as is possible and loving the weather, I am tucked away this afternoon, inside with the air con on, so nice and r020.gif indoors.
    Nipped out this morning p035.gif just a few bits and bats. The supermarket was heaving, everyone was stocking up for their barbies, with trolleys piled high.
    Oh has been playing with the new e020.gif and I managed to get about 4 weeds out, so I was v pleased. h074.gif

    Lots of fluids all round. b025.gif we don't want any dehydration in the cafe.

    Thinking about a nap, will see if the bedrooms are as cool as the lounge........ b030.gif

    d050.gif I trimmed snowy & well, Have you ever seen a dog with layers :shock: :lol: well snowy has. I knew that hairdressing course i did when i was 16 would come in handy one day. He now looks like a dulux dog gone wrong :lol: well i did try & he seems to be so much cooler now.
    Right im being called to water the garden,be back later.

    Eh its hot, not so bad in here, but outside is heavvvy. Cats sprawled out in the lounge, chilling with the air con. Daren't look at the electric meter, it will be whizzing round. k030.gif

    I am trying to muster up enough energy to perch and make something to eat. b010.gif Nibbles and a sandwich I think. a020.gif

    I will force myself onto my perch, gather my mayonnaise, butter, turkey, gherkins, sweet sauce, crisps, sounds like a picnic....... e025.gif

    Iv got a bone to pick with you val......reasons to be cheerful....you got me wanting a cold cider...well I got one but OH weren't happy having to go and get one.....so i blamed you... :roll: :)

    well he got me two then he didnt have to go back.....think I might chance it...not that i am teetotal but its the meds....right i have made up my mind do without meds :shock: :)

    i drink very little these days as to many tabs do not like mixing alchohol in as well but every now and then have odd one and do like cider on a hot day
