Taking time off from pottering to have a T break and a couple of pieces of shortbread...........mmmmm.
I've just unearthed a smallish gnome from under some long grass.....does anyone know where he lives? He really doesn't go with the current state of the garden........he's much too smart in his red coat and tartan trews, but I can't find his name and address.
We are making some other discoveries, too.........amazing what you can find in a neglected garden!

Hello everyone
Have not read back yet, but I do hope you are all okish.
I've had to have nebbies as I could not breath. I'm ok but am shaking a loo.t
Can I have a cooffee pleasse. I will sit here and watch the people going past.
Trish xxx0 -
Hi Trish, here's your coffee - both hands now, if you are shaking like that! (Or does that make it spill two ways?). I know how the nebbies make you shake, I'm like a jelly in an earthquake.
Sorry you've got the breathing probs again on top of everything else, did you manage to get any sleep last night?
Annie0 -
Afternoon all. Steady on now Trish, I know the nebulisers make you shakey, be careful.
Went to Sainsbury's this morning, as the in laws are coming for the week end, got a few bits, didnt go mad as it is not pension day yet and pennies have to watched. They are no trouble, do whatever we do and fuss round me, so that I don't overdo things. I still potter, but M in Law keeps an eye on what I am doing and is forever saying "will you sit down a bit and let me do that" Bless.
OH mowed the lawn, I pulled some weeds out, which was ok at the time, now I am about immobile, still, I was determined to get the blighters and I did 8) Now I will be heading for the pain killers and other 4pm meds, perhaps a shower first, warm my kidneys up a bit. It is lovely out, warm in the sunshine. Goodness, I am rambling..........stop it Bubbles.
Right, I will shower, must do hair, it is like a dish mop. :shock:XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

Hi Trish, Toni, Julie, Babycham, Cris, Barbara, who else, Annie, Val, did we find your boat?
Just coming round from a nap, motivating myself to potter in the kitchen a cuppa first I think and a few more minutes for the fog to clear. Made a change for me to actually doze off for a while.
I see we are still on standby for foaling. is ready and full of provisions. just sorting my uniform for when needed.
Trish, hope you are less breathless and shakey.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

Don't blame you. I went to one a couple of years back, cost £50 for a cut and blow dry, (nearly fainted) and I had chunks of hair missing   Could have done better myself.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

Hi and good evening to you all, Barbara, Bubbles, Jan, Cris and Trish.
Have had a good potter round the garden this afternoon, a beautiful day here. Thought I'd best come in for a builders before I overdid things and it all went pear-shaped again, no not the garden, me!
Supposed to rain tomorrow.......will have to potter indoors; have a major tidy up and see if I can find the hoover under the debris. We need it!
I'll have some of that apple crumble and custard if there's any left..................

Hi Annie, been lovely here too, sunset on Pendle Hill is fabby this evening. I am paying for the weeding I did, but I just had to do it, could not bear to stand there any longer and let OH do everything. Ditto with the indoor pottering, in laws coming so Hyacinth Bouquet is on duty tonight. My work colleagues used to call me Hyacinth. Fussy? Me, nah, not muchXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Hi Jan, bubbles, barbara and Trish. Toni hope you neck aint too bad
Jan my cold isn't too bad, this afternoon I turned round and my hip cracked  I was nearly sick, my son and brother thought I had trumped cheeky sods, the air was blue I can tell you.
barbara I've had some bad hair cuts in the past
Julie xx((((hugs)))) n xxxxx to ya all0 -
Bubbles, I'm definitely not a Hyacinth.............I remember telling a work colleague once that my mother was coming for the weekend and that I had to go home and dust off the cobwebs before she arrived...........poor girl had hysterics, couldn't speak for laughing..........and I was only telling the truth.
I find it difficult to stay in one position for more than a few minutes, so I'm a fully-trained potterer these days. Unless I'm lying down, of course! I find everything does get done, it just takes a bit longer.
I could go a refill of T in the bucket, being outside has made me thirsty - well, practically anything makes me thirsty!
