right am up and dressed what time did they say the bus to cornwall was coming got me pocket money packet of sandwiches bag of crisps and bottle of tap water. two sets of clean clothes not sure how long we are staying so got spare pair of nickers do likr clean ones.


will just clean this window while i look out waiting for them

Popped in for a builders, thank heavens it's much fresher here this morning.

I will just nip to the shops while waiting for the bus to Cornwall....how I wish I was going there for a few days......on second thoughts I'd have to leave the garden behind.

yes please could do with one only had one at work then had water trying to cut down on amount of black tea i drink as teeth getting stained lol

Pineapple juice in a pint glass, followed by more of the same.

Still so hot, but lots of cloud around too. I`m getting just a teeny bit fed up of it now. Wish it would drop to about 18 degrees, with sun, and stay like that til November.

Val, I`ve just read your post about hubby`s job, and I am so sorry. I hope everything works out for him. Try not to worry too much, it will only give Arthur the chance to bite you on the bum.........Ange.

thanks he did bite during the week but meds kicking him back for me lol fingers are crossed sure all will be ok just a matter of waiting

Hello all
Just popped in to say hello and to make a cuppa and grab a chocolate eclair to take out into the garden and found a note propped up on the kettle saying "gone to Cornwall to see Cris". So sorry I missed the bus - don't s'pose I can catch up now, so will just tidy up a bit here and get the fridge stocked up for when you get back - sure you'll all be hungry and tired after your long journey.

Afternoon to one and all, sorry not had a chance to read back and I think I would go boggle eyed if I tried.

Hope all are ok and arthur is not nagging or gnawing too much.

Been nice to have a day at home, OH has been mowing and planting, I decided to get some weeds out, did a bit, then I was in agony, so I stuck to dead heading plants at waist height and making T. Sometimes you just want to have a go, but I nearly ended up in the hawthorn, so I gave up, reluctantly. :roll:

Lovely day, nice breeze, sun shining, people out in their gardens, doing jobs, one of whom is putting wooden latting together, which is making a din, just when Bubbles was getting ready to nod off. :roll:

Don't worry Tilly, we can have a good clean up later, I will ready the mops and hoover. No, we would not catch them up now, not at my pace anyway, lol.

I knew about hubbie's job Val but did not know when it was happening. I will still keep my fingers crossed that he stays.
