HI Cris,
ta for the cuppa and the slurps we had an ok day thanks ...... not felt brill but dad enjoyed himself at the races and I got my injection so that was a relief (confused me cos nurse is away and my GP not on tomorrow so injection is 1 day early - don't take much to confuse me these days   )
littlelegs is on her way ..... she says she'll give him an injection of 'i'll behave' juice  though where she got that from I do not know ..... she certainly hasn't had any herself today  hope he didn't get up to too much mischief?
hugs , slurps and healing vibes for your wounds
wonky xxxx0 -

I keep forgetting to go for the blood test re mtx  I must remember to make an appointment this week and will ask the nurse to check the wound. its gone over to dry dressings today...... Tell you he is testament to me being soft as he is still here but could Little legs inject him as well hey she might be persuaded to do us all I will try and sneak on into her while she is distracted with the lodgers as well.
You have a restful night and more slurps and ((( )))'s and another cuppa if you like one xxx0 -
thanks Cris ..... will drink up and then depart fro bed ..... dad going home on the 9.37 train so early (ish) start for us
He's not been to Ripon or Thirsk races, or even DOncaster or York ..... strange that eh? :!: maybe he does come to see us as well as the racing
hope you get your bloods sorted .... naughty not to go .... you know it's in your best interests dont' you!!
I make my next appointment when I'm there .... that way we can never forget ...... in fact we are so efficient we work 3 appointments ahead but I do go every week

Ive been a terrible sleeper for years too. Once im off i can usually stay asleep, its the getting off thats the problem. Ive been taking sleepers early so if that helps.
How you doing on the pregabalins? Ive not upped mine yet, i tried the 300mg but was flying away, went back to 150mg now im on 200mg & trying 250mg tomorrow see if thats ok.
Knocking most of the nerve pain out & they dont ease off as quick as the gabapentins did.
debs
I am on 400 pregabalin now, which is just about all I can cope with, one day I am ok, then suddenly they hit you and I am just about floored. They are hitting the nerve pain to an extent. Sometimes the pain comes sailing through. I think they make your mood swing from high to low within a short space of time, mind you, they are powerful drugs, altering the brains perception of pain.
Them, on top of the daizepam, fluoxetine, amitryp, zopiclone and max strength co codamol, not to mention the bucket load of pills for my heart problems, it is a wonder I can function at all.  Apart from that I am fine, :roll:XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

Hey poor little Legs is running about trying to catch Gimpy... good job she is fast though she does keep getting sidetracked! She said the neigh-ups are boring though cus they don't run no matter how much she barks at em....

Good afternoon girls, Looks like a quiet morning.
Recuperating today after having the grandsons for a couple of days.
Surprising where the energy comes from, but after a couple of loads of washing today, getting the tail end of the holiday out of the way and now washing the floor. Then, says she, I will certainly put my feet up. I've done the hall and half the kitchen, getting my breath back..............
I don't think my chiropractor will be very happy with me again.
At least my OH has done the carpets throughout the house, bless him
I've decided it's a waste of time trying to talk to my rheumy nurse, she never replies and she say's that I won't get any better so, I'm making the most of it. There's nothing more my consultant can do either, unless I get much worse of course.
At least my meds make me sleep at night, which seems more than most of you are doing. That's bad, I'm sorry for your peeps having a rough time. I'm fed up with pain following me around all day though, but I look upon it as a friend now. Does that sound silly.
Heard from DLA. still not going to get mobility component, which is understandable I suppose, but when it comes to the care component, I am still going to get that. £73 per month and hope I sell the odd picture. That's that then. Getting a meal ready is the hardest thing I can do at the moment. Good job we are having a lot of salads. Holding knives and can opening, holding pots are making my hands very painful.
Still, having the grandson's over makes up for all of that. We have been to two country parks near to us where they have had a whale of a time on all the wooden climibing frames, sand and water.. Played footy, hide and seek and we haven't spent anything except petrol money. They have had pocket money from me for looking after the youngest Paul, who is a very bright button. We had four of them yesterday with my 'adopted ' grandson from next door joining us. After a picnic in the garden between showers, they loved it.
Sorry for all my meanderings, but as I haven't joined in recently, just having a quiet time before tackling the rest of my chores.

Love
