    Just popped in for an Ovaltine. Hope I sleep tonight. Val I'm still awake from when I met you this morning and I had had no sleep all night.

    I wonder if it is the steroids I have had a sleeping tablet not worked.

    I heard from Joy a week or so ago, she was haveing a major flare up so wasn't up to posting. I did say here but its gets so busy it can be over looked.

    Joy if you look in I hope your starting to feel a lot better. xx

    Glad you had sun, we sort of lost ours now and its a bit cool as well...... Did see the forecast and we will be swimming again by the morning :lol::lol: Lovely summer eh?!

    Hi Trish, Cham, Cris.........anyone else around, haven't read back very far yet?. Hi to all!

    Will get myself a builders and sit here by the window and do some reading back and get myself sorted out after my latest unplanned absence. The computer is now fixed (I bl**dy well hope so) after a rather trying few days, so reading back could take a while......

    Hope everyone is pretty much okish..........I see we will need canoes tomorrow, has anyone else got terminal mould yet?

    Well think I will have some cowpats for my head. I have not got the right one on today and feeling rather perculiar.

    I will have a coffe and a sticky bun with a cherry on the top and Cornish cream in the middle if Cris bought in some cream

    Cream? Cream? I haven't had any for a flippin' week..........think I would like some raspberries to go in the bowl with it.........

    DD, the leg and foot is looking and feeling a lot better. Still looks a bit scabby where some of the skin peeled off and sometimes a bit awkward to get it comfortable but on the whole am pleased with it now...........but you know what life is like.......that gets better and I get all the muscle pain back in the legs! Not sure if it's the weather or the result of a rather trying week! (Or just arther doing his thing).

    Had a visitor though, my little bro came up for the weekend (and fixed the computer for me - well, Himself did some of it, too).

    This is dangerous (having my bro to visit, I mean) and led me into the the highways and byways of brandy drinking. Maybe that's what's got into my legs.

    Somebody switched off summer while I wasn't looking, I really don't mind the rain, but the gloom........ooooh, I do like to be able to SEE.

    I'm going to get myself a refill.............

    You computer Annie you have not had it long didn't you have it under guarentee still?Got some Brandy for you in the cane and Able.

    Glad you are back though, I did tell them you had computer problems on the first day.

    Hi guys, back from my little trip to North Yorks. Had a lovely few days, managed to avoid the rain (it came through the night), the days have been hot and sunny. Missed you all but managed not to pine away as too busy having fun and a good time. xx I'll have a hot choccy while I'm here, hope everyone is OK. Cris, we went to the Rosedale Abbey show yesterday, it was very interesting and I thought of you as I watched the Shire horses and their foals being shown. I was mesmerised by them such big powerful animals. The foals made me smile and I now understand what you mean when you say the foals are bouncing, as that is exactly what these ones were doing, they were beautiful.

    Trish thanks for keeping an eye on my farm for me, better check on it soon, all my crops will be withered by now. Hope you are feeling reasonable, I see that you have not slept for a few nights, I hope this changes soon.

    Just grabbing a quick builders before I go do the sheep..... must hit the embers tonight, one ore night in the arm chair might be the end of my neck :roll:

    Leaving hugs, eggs and more cream and have borrowed Marigold to help translate what the calves (I love the way I call them that... over a year old and over shoulder high... with horns :shock: :shock: ) are saying to me..... I think its more hay but she might be able to tell them are they sheep!

    Everybody, hello.

    Annie, how lovely to see you.

    Well, I can`t believe it, but all the "dirty" work - and, believe me, it has been FILTHY! - is finally finished. A complete new heating system, and a gorgeous new bathroom. I only wanted a new boiler! Of course, I now face the prospect of decorators and carpet fitters, but that is going to have to wait a few weeks. I have never felt so exhausted, and need a break.

    I would love a huge bowl of strawberries, and cream, and a pineapple juice......Ange.....x.

    Trish, yes, the computer is under warranty still.........it was communicating which was the problem!

    We did have a bit of a Heath Robinson setup here, it's how we rigged 'em up when we first moved in. Himself decided to have a bit of a tidy up while we were at it, so there are far fewer cables and wires all over the place (what Elfin Safety?)

    Flippin' 'eck, by gum, it in't arf raining..........no winds as yet, but believe they are to come.........

    Ange, I love the decorating bits even though I can't DIY any more..........just think how bright and clean it will look for the winter months. Glad the worst is over for you.

    Cris, I'll be right down to collect the blue eggs, haven't seen one for ages................NO ARMCHAIRING!!!

    Evening Jan, no work till Tuesday?
