We must also remember to put a few bottles of champagne in the fridge here overnight too.
Bubbles, I had a burglary when I had my house a few years back - took all my jewellery inc the gold watch of my late mother. All sentimental things, it was horrible. My son was only 6 at the time & with us when we found the mess. He couldn't understand & cried his eyes out. Evil people. The other Friday night some lout threw a big stone through my sons window & smashed it. Typically enough it was the one that a Neighbourhood Watch sticker on it.
    Ghastly!

It is horrid, what people will do, it can wreck peoples lives. How aweful for your son, it must have been a dreadful shock. We lived in a none too pleasant area at our last house, sometimes we never went to bed, with all the shouting and going on in the street, I was in a terrible state. So glad we have moved away from there.

Yes, it was a fair reply, a bit waffly from the MP for disability / welfare etc, but I was generally pleased with the reply, stating that those who are sick and disabled will be provided for unconditionally, they want to streamline the whole welfare minefield and make it easier to access, with less form filling. My MP wrote to say that if I was not happy with the explanation, to contact him straight away. I will probably have all my benefits taken off me now !!!! I was impressed and have kept the envelopes too, carefully opened them. The postman must have thought "blimey, two letters from the House of Commons", how important IS that. LOL

OH, we get the new car in two weeks times, how cool with that be.

Your car that will be good. Our one should be in November it used to be September.

Anyway picked out new one silver Moonlight. It is a bigger one to get all my equipment in 7 seater but they fold down so I said we can go camping

Take a blow up bed my feather mattress and duvet nice. We were then told they are all behind with orders so it will be after Christmas. We don't mind.

We also wanted a bigger one so we can all go out together when I'm well enough. It has sliding doors easier for me to get in.

Nice car though. Hope they don't take that away from us.
Hubby wants me to have a small scooter but I will fall off he said I won't so he wants me to test drive one

I have a curve in my spine and tend to lean over I know I will fall.

So are we gong to loose all our benefits???

Does it say anything if you are classed as severly disabled? That is the class I'm am. It did have will never be able to work on the Consultants letters one from My Proffessor.

Send me a pm when you have time. That is before I got arthur as well.

You know I love the scooters, well the shop ones, I don't have one of my own. I know what you mean, the centre of gravity is different for you, but they could adapt it to suit your needs I am sure.

New car sounds good. They are behind on orders, but seem to be catching up a bit now, man said first week in October, cannot wait, much higher seats, so better for getting in and out of. We will be posh. OH will be washing and waxing it, I can lend a hand, but not if it is cold out.

Going to potter a moment in the kitchen, taken my night meds, have a cup of T.
Medicine trolley is all ready s040.gif I will be listening to see if anyone needs extra meds in the night. s045.gif

Off to nurse my bruises from blood taking the other day, a right mess she left my arm in, will tell the fiasco of that tomorrow. Looks like I have been punched on the arm, not impressed at all.

N Night to one and all, take lots of care, rest well and hope arthur is not snapping or biting too much.

Will do Hun, off to check up on the folks today, but will write you later in the evening, you take care, will send you the links and stuff, for you to read. I think those of us who are genuinely ill and disabled, have no real worries, like you, I am unfit for work. The GP said, yeah, right, I am sure they can get you back to work, NOT.

It's a pity we don't know what is going to be affected with the cuts. At present, I only get care component and had mobility one taken away from me.

For anyone who is a lot worse and they take the mobility away from them, then that will be truly bad. They are certainly changing the criteria, with less benefit staff to deal with it. I think it's time to do some research. Perhaps a visit to your local MP who may know more.

Have tried to read back, but my head is spinning trying to take it all in.

I must be good and call in more. I see you had another bad night Trish and a sore throat to boot. Hope you feel better soon.

I'll have a quick cuppa before I get ready for my monthly art workshop. I enjoy my Saturdays away from the home.

Did a bit of tidying up in the garden, I say a bit, trimmed the long lavender hedge down. That was back breaking. I can't kneal and I cannot sit at it so it was a lot of bending over and my back is suffering for it today. Then I must have pulled up a couple of barrowloads of weeds. Where do they come from. Then that was it. I couldn't manage any more. We have a fairly large garden too. I said to OH as he was cutting the high hedge. What do we do when you cannot manage that job. "We sell up" was his reply. I know that I couldn't manage it and cannot afford a gardener to come and do it. I can't even manage the lawn mower, but that is easily remedied. There must be some easy to use ones. OH does like the heavy petrol ones. Only because he likes to play with engines.

Hi to anyone still around - it's a beautiful day again, but cold.

Got time for a builders and 5 mins rest before I think about lunch. Will sit here by the window, the flowers are lasting well out in the garden. The trees haven't yet started turning here, so hoping for a couple more weeks before Autumn really kicks in.
