he moved could not find it when got in from work he sat near front door wish he would crawl back out was emptying box at work and a masive one moved in the box well i nearly screamed emptyed the box then got boss to come and get rid of it was not going to touch it stayed at arms lenth lol . even boss said it was masive lol

Hi to all - have read back but can only remember Val's MASSIVE spider! Shame I wasn't there, I'd have moved it for you, Val. Oh Ange, too - I don't know how you do it, petal. I've even stopped watching the news lately, 'cos it gets me all upset!

Had a good day, bit breezy in town this morning, sea a bit choppy but a pleasant enough morning.

Rained after lunch, but I had a nap anyway. Went outside for half an hour in the drizzle, should have waited - it's cleared up now.

Will have a builders and watch the day disappear - sky is beginning to clear now, there will be a harvest moon out again tonight.

What's all this about spiders??? I woke up with one in my HAIR yesterday and I shrieked like a banshee until hubby got it out for me. Yuk.

I would have died, if one got in my hair.

Need a pick me up bit down tonight. Been down all day really.I'm not ill, my joints are stiff and burning.

But just feel so down. Will have a coffee and sit by the window watch the people going home from work knowing they have the weekend off well some do.

Yes, I did panic a bit I must say and even tho I had seen it go out the window I felt as if it was still there for the rest of the morning.

Sorry you are so down today but hopefully a nice sit here in the cafe will cheer you up a bit. I spy a scrummy looking cake over there - will bring some over.

When I was in a Hospice awe must be over the year ago now and more.
Well one night when I was in bed I felt something sort of nick me.

Well, I saw this spider on my bed and it was running away. It had bit me.
I had two blisters come up and they got that big they went into one.

The blister burst and the skin was raw underneath. I put on a Thread asking if spiders do bite.

Now I have a scar on my arm where it did bite me. It is an inch long the scar.

Going to wear a crash helmet tonight. :shock:

Trish, so sorry you're a bit down today........I've whipped up a load of pick-me-up drinks, pineapple flavour.........here's a large one for you. Will put the others in the fridge, help yourselves, they have chocolate sprinkles and some have nuts on the tops.

Another builders and I have to go do one or two little chores, like feeding the cat as she is giving a fair rendition of a starving, neglected kitty.

Hubby has been in bed since 3pm ........ says he wishes he was Worzel Gummidge (sp? :? ) and could take his head off it hurts that much gone through a box of tissues already, and he didn't have anything to eat tonight :shock: ... now I know hes ill :shock: :shock:

littlelegs is on nurse duty as usual, so am feeling a bit left out :roll:

now then ...... hot chocolates all round? with marshmallows?

Hi, Wonky, sorry to hear hubby is poorly.......I know what you mean about him not eating..........

I will have my bedtime builders to wash down the night meds, my bed is shouting at me and I have to go and shut it up.

8 legged bugs aside, Trish, hope you are feeling a bit better hun, don't forget you have had a damned rough run of it lately. Cris, saw the other thread and glad you are home, sending hugs to you and to all.

Have not read back so far, mind and eyes are not focussing well. OH has done the beds, lots of washing done, had a fuss in the bathrooms and felt better for seeing them gleaming. Now, look at the time, goodness knows what happens to the days.

I am going to check for spiders, just one more time, when OH has finished in the shower. It is cold here, heating came on a while back, expecting a ground frost

right, the trolley is out, albeit a bit late now, sorry, was pottering in the kitchen.
Lots of hugs and TLC from Matron Bubbles, for those who are feeling a wee bit special medicine to help, I know, but the worst tasting medicines do the most good, so they told me. I will be tip toeing about, to check on who is awake and who is resting
Matron has an all seeing eye, so no giggling or whispering.

Everyone take lots of care, rest well, hope tomorrow is better than today. Off to the folks, need to check up that all is ok. Will bring some cakes back from Mark's. Love, XXXX Bubbles

Sun is shining this morning, but omg, it is so cold. only 4 degrees.
Sounds like a girl band that.
Have a quick cuppa then get breakfast ready for my guest. Cousin of my OH who has come to stay for his birthday. Have a whole line of surprises lined up for the birthday boy incl a flight in a Tiger Moth.
He thinks he has guessed what he is going to get, but so far this week he hasn't come up with any of the right guesses. Lovely.
