Just had to pop in and have cup of energy and Large cuppa English ta.
What a day. Got nothing done at home today, but will have to face a pile of ironing later while I watch TV.
I am not hungry. Apart from breakfast, I have succombed to half a Mars bar this morning, 2 biscuits and half a slice of maple and pecan slice. So we are now 4 30 p.m. Managed to get back into a size 20 jumper today. stomach really going down now. I am going to be very careful between now and Christmas. It is going to be so difficult not to nibble things.

I shall leave one of the game pies I bought today for the teatime crowd and go an prepare dinner. Speak to you later I hope

sorry to hear that you are still having bad headaches ..... just a thought (can't remember if you have asked your GP about this before)

I was talking to my GP today about the amount of Co-codamols that I was taking, and asking if I should be careful about the amount of codeine I take (I have two different strengths to choose from) and she said that I was fine as long as I was careful to only take 8 in 24 hours and to take what I felt I needed.

However, she said that I should go back and talk to her if I was to experience lots of headaches, as the codeine can make you suffer from headaches.

I hope you get to see your GP soon - perhaps if you explained what the problem was on the phone they may get the GP to ring you back?

Hi Everyone

Can I have 3 buckets of energy. Been in bed nearly all day, so tired.I feel that I have tried to climb a mountain.

Hubby said I might feel better if I got up. I have not yet. Nearly fell asleep in the chair.

I might have to go back to bed. Don't like leaving hubby on our first week togeather after all this time.

I will be glad to see Rheumy next week. Might give me the other to take, as I'm not on anything since my liver tests were do high and the very bad headaches I had.

Golly gosh, Trish you ain't 'alf goin frew it! Has it occurred to you that it might be sheer reaction? You've had a helluva three months on all-systems go all that time and that has now ended. I think your body is telling you that you can now let go and get the rest you so desperately need - and if you don't do it, it will do it for you!

I'll join you in a bucket of energy though, it's been snowing here all day, stopped about 2 hours ago. It's not settled, just on the tops of the cars and on the rooftops and trees - looks very Christmassy!
I had a tough day at work too, so to go with the energy I'll have a large builders and the biggest cream cake there is!

Trisher i agree with Annie it is probably the releif of it all that has you so exhausted. i would be kind to yourself today and rest up....could give you the enrgy by drip if you like so you can go back to sleep????

Mmmmm - hi, Chris, the antlers haven't grown much, have they, they do look a little familiar................well, if we can't find his owner, guess he'll have to go in with the other critters.

Hi. Yes I was aware of this. For the last 6 months, I have not had any co-codomols except when it is very very bad.
So my intake of co cod is about 2 a week at the most. I am also aware that I do not suffer so much constipation either.
Today has been a stressful day in a way and I think that is the cause.

ooooh just the job Trisher ..... cold up north tonight, but no snow yet thank goodness. Send hubby up into loft tonight to get wellies down just in case ..... I can't get up there :roll: (well I might, but getting down would be another problem entirely :oops: )

Had second swine flu jab today, and am f eeling a bit 'off' tonight . Arm aches too - have taken co-codamols and hope that they sort it out.

Trisher, have put energy on tap now, feel free to serve yourself some whenever you need it.

I say, drips do sound like a good idea .... we could plug ourselves in at night and wake up all refreshed and raring to go

Joy - I know what you mean about the co-codamols bunging us up - I eat as much veg as I can to counteract that problem, but don't always manage it!

right ..... christmas cards are written so I might indulge in some crimbo cake after all .... this time next week we'll almost be there :shock:

Hi Wonkylegs.

Sorry to hear that you feel abit under the weather with the swine flu. I only had one jab. I know that there were two types of swine flue jabs, but cannot remember the name of the two. My hubby is having his done tomorrow.
He's got the idea that now we have bought these two blow up pigs, he is going to take them along, present himself at reception and see what reaction he gets, (just for a Joke) I told them they would probably crease themselve laughing and then get him locked up. The are so realistic though and I expect the grandchildren will love them.

Re the 'bunged up feeling' brought on by co codomols, now I do not eat so much bread because I am on a diet. that's helped too. And, of course, I am drinking lots of water.

Goodnight. off to bed now and hope the sore head will be gone tomorrow.

Its cold! Sun is up but what I would have give for it to have some heat in it this morn

I should like bucket of energy, fortitude and stamina..... Followed by a builders, a cream tea and I got this if anyone would like some..... A raspberry yogurt (low fat) but I have added a dollop of cream..... Low fat becomes a joke about there eh?!

Slipper Boy is being his normal self, he came with and did the come and see me to everyone and he does bring in trade His mate is a old 3 legged lady and she played the orphan to the hilt as well and for once I broke even this month
