Hi All.
Those with hot flushes, how are you doing?
My meds make me hot, especially the steroids.
Regarding the headaches, why not try ordinary paracetamols.
They help me a lot. My GP said that para's were more preferable to Co-Cos. Just a thought. I have had two good sessions with my TENs today. Seems to have eased my back up a bit.
Gosh this cup of tea is good.
I like to drink camomile tea. That's good for headaches as is lemon and ginger tea. My friends send me the camomile tea from Italy. I've got so much I shall be drowning in it soon.
I'll have a chat with you all later. bye

Hello everyone,
Cris, so glad to see you back, don`t overdo things. Good to see that they are all turning into such great sales critters.
I am going to have my favourite egg and chips, and a huge builders.......Ange0 -
Hi everyone
Joy please may I have a hot flush??? I am soooooooooooo cold!!!Brr!!!!!!!
Toni x0 -
Hi Joy Angel Toni.
Jan
how is your head now.
1 mug of tea please.
joan xxtake care
joan xx0 -
Evenin' to all - Del, Jan, Cris, Joan, Toni, Ange, Trish..........
Lovely to have you back, Cris. Jan, hope the head gets sorted soon! You've got all my sympathy........
It's sooooooo perishing cold out there.........I think I'll have a large builders with a dollop of brandy, a hot beef roll with onions and a large dish of Cris' yoghourt with cream to follow.
That might keep me going for a couple of hours, got to sit and write a shopping list, although it looks as if hubby will be going out on his own. If that's the case then every item will need explicit directions to it (e.g. tea - walk to the back of the first aisle, look left and down and it should jump up and hit you). It's going to take me all bl**dy night!
Had my second (and last) office Christmas lunch today.........not as good as the first one.........but who cares, it's Christmas!

Toni so funny you asking for a hot flush they will catch us eventually in the meantime delboy is welcome to them. Sorry del. :?
Cris, He would love to come live with you, but says he is partial to some of that drum playing blue paper stuff if you can spare some as a treat. Hope you are soon feeling much better, how was the sale today? hope it worth going for you.
Hi Del, Joy, Joan and Annie hope I haven't missed anyone there.
Right tea with me egg and chips please.
Hope you all keeping warm.
Chris0 -
Evening,
hell its cold so Del could I have one of your hot flushes as well please? I can't stop shivering but have only just come back inside and though I been in the car for a bit her heater is rubbish..... along with her head gasket at least I calls her 'borrowed time' now a days
Could I have a big builders and some egg and chips as well I shall take it over here with Ange and Chris before joining Annie on the yogurt and cream dept and than maybe being sick I am at least 2 yogurts up on the rest of you...... You don't often find clotted cream in the reduced section
There's enough left for a cream tea if anyone would like to join me on the mega comfort eating quest I seem to have gone on x
Hi Joy,
Just a ((( ))) for you x
Hi Jan,
Has your gp said anything about a CT scan to you? You must run this one all the way you know. ((( ))) x
Hi Chris,
He can have as much blue wrapped drum playing stuff as he can eat She has agreed to give him some of her sheep nuts and hay She is very happy to find her Christmas gear BUT She is still wearing both Toni's and her own aprons The scar thing here is in my mind she does actually have it all on
He is on his way to put foot prints in your snow Stay warm flower xx
Hi Wonky,
Hows little legs dealing with the snow? He may pop over to you as well. I have given him some eggs so make sure he gives them you Slurps and ((( ))) x
Right hello and ((( )))'s to everyone I have missed and I am going to go immerse in hot water I think, I really am cold, roll on the next drip...... its only time of year I ever say it Please send all hot flushes this way..... The idea of being warm is wonder full. x0 -
OMG, it is so cold. Yes, bring back the hot flush. I miss them.
Before I start on a pile of ironing thought I would pop in for some coffee. And a bit of tipple in please!!!
I'm so tired today. I was going to pop into town to get a few things and get some pictures framed when it started snowing. I'm not going out in that I thought.
Try again tomorrow. I think it is another layer of clothes tomorrow
I bought myself a faux fir throw last year and put in on my recliner chair. It makes it so warm. All I need now is a decent programme on tv and I won't be doing much more. There's nothing decent on TV over Christmas.
Perhaps I'll book the cruise maybe

Right, a large hot chocolate, then I`m off to bed. Feel bit rough. Aches on top of aches. Don`t know if it`s Arthur, the flu, or the dreaded lurgy!! Keep well and warm everyone. Nighty night.......Ange.0

luv debs0 -
Hi all, it's just started snowing hard here (I'm about 25 miles south of London) so I guess you are getting it, too Trish.
Not nice out there, the wind is blowing it every which way - looks pretty! Very seasonal.
I might build a snowman tomorrow.............then again, I might not.
In the meantime, I'd better have a large builders with a splosh of brandy (or whisky, I'm not at all fussy) and a large something cheesey - a cheese and onion sandwich would go down a treat!
Annie0 -
Hey Annie,
I got a bit of single malt if you'd like some x
Hi Ange,
He is in his nurses costume and on his way........ I would pretend your out if I were you
Get well soon, have a good night and feel better tomorrow. Love Cris xx
Hi Debs,
Mash and runny eggs fr you xx0 -
Cris, single malt is a darned sight too good for tea! Save it for an emergency!
My feet are frozen even though I put a pair of socks on and then my fluffy slippers over the top - we are a glam lot! I'm going for the tinsel layer look myself.
Never mind, on the cruise I can wear all the slinky dresses and not-pants that I like (no, it's not a smelling pistake).
Will have a last builders and then go to bed with hubby and two hot water bottles and the cat................my feet should warm up then.
Annie0 -
Cup of hot choc I think. then bed. Have justbeen watching grumpy old women. It's quite funny and so true. I could see myself. How many of you are growing into your mothers?
Gosh it'scold. think I'll take my fir throw to bed. I've already got a thick velvet one, which is too heavy for my legs.
Hubby came back from his swine flu jab today. this eve his arm started hurting. He checked up on mine and the nurse said yes, I did need a 2nd . 3 wks from the first. So in two wks time I shall have the 2nd which will be at least 6 weeks between them. When I had the first, I the nurse didn't tell me that I had to make an appointment for the second, but after seeing what you all had put on the forum about it.
Well, I'm off to bed. Going to be good fun on Sat. Son has just rung up to see if I would have the 2 eldest boys for the day. That will be fun
I mean it.
Joy0 -
Hi Annie,
Couldn't we just pretend it's an emergency and just have the malt on its own
Oh for a cure for cold feet........ Mine are smothered in chilblains and clearly into deep purple
Hottles, best invention ever xx
Hi Joy,
Hey you could make a snowman x0 -
Hi One and all
have come up for air, didn't I want it that cold though. Yes getting snowy here. The cars all got white roofs.
Can I go back on the energy drip again?
Nice to see you around again Cris. Hope everything settling down again. Keep warm though.
Large coffee, a large cream bun with a cherry on the top and fresh cream inside. Then a piece of Christmas cake, I like fruit and marzipan on it.
trish xx0 -
Hi folks,
can I have a large tea and something chocolate laden please? I've had a horible couple of days with BOTH knees playing up - perhaps it is the cold but they've both been on fire by the end of the day and so painful to touch. Waking me at night, can't get comfy and generally very fed up. :-(
Please can someone invent detachable knee caps that can be removed, cleaned out and refitted?

Hi Trish,

Going to go get my head down us as I get warmer I gets more tired and have already nearly done armchair duties and well they are never good to do
Have a good night Trish xx0 -

Just grabbing a brew to take with me, have hydro early and don't fancy stripping off in this weather, good job hospitals are warm.
Will put the soup on for Wonky and anyone else who needs some. I see there is some single malt here too!
Take care Cris, hope your new adoptee is settling in.
Hugs and warm thoughts to you all. Still snowing here, I might need the skis tomorrow

WHO "ME".......THEY CAN. I DON'T LIKE PLAYING IN SNOW ANYMORE0 -
Hello girls
Any breakfast. I'd love a full english, but still trying to be careful.
At last, the weight is really moving off fast. another 1 1/2 lbs
I am eating mind, I'm not completely starving. If I put too much in front of me I find I can't eat so much as I use to which is good.
This snow if still falling heavily. Wonder how long it will last. not to Christmas I suppose.
I hope you feel a bit better today Trisher, Chris, Cris, annie, and delboy. That shoulder sounds painful. Get some warmth on it. Have you got a TENs machine?
goodluck
