    Morning all,
Don't all shout at me but the old man doesn't want me to go away. He'll starve to death if I take this holiday.
Perhaps a bit later, when I've studied the map a bite more. I don't want to get you all lost. It could be quite dangerous at my age. The responsibility is best left with someone younger.
    Have a lovely trip.
Tell me all about it when you get back.
If they still sell rock, can you get me a peppermint one from Penzance.

Don't worry, we shall ensure you can come. We have laid on some respite for your old man so that you can go.

I love St Austall. Do you like the sketches I have done. There is a very good Fish Restaurant here.

I certainly enjoyed the brewery trip. I think that makes it the 10 brewery I have visited in the British Isles so far. Is anyone interested in going down to Carlyon Bay?
Lovely Hotel. The head waiter is to die for!!!!

Some time since I have been there, but use to have some nice days along that beach. Fairly quiet too. Always hot. Oh for those days again. I wish. Why do people always come along and spoil things.

    Hi Joy,

Oh you wouldn't believe the agro........ Its not really a beach now cus the micra that covered it has stopped with the closures of the pits and its not what it was.

hey we could go to Charles Town did you ever paint there? The place that has the tall ships harbour and they still 'working' ones. Amazing replicas of some of the well known ones. Mind the only ships with 'Hollywood smiles':lol::lol::lol: xx

    Hi Ange

Hope you not still stir crazy there and can get out soonish.

Haven't been in this bit yet but love the seaside so am following the trip. Have been Devon and Cornwall way as a child but my memory gets fuddled now :? Is the Hovis hill there somewhere or am I losing the plot? No don't answer that!!

Do lots of orders at work for places down there. Am I dreaming or is there somewhere called Lizard Island? Sounds wonderful.
Have me cossie ready for the next stop and have never met a pub lunch I didn't like

Us too Barb!! What a journey. One year we got the Motorail from Newton-le-Willows to Newton Abbot. That was great, drive on, drive off. They stopped it soon after that though, so it was back to the graveyard shift again.......Ange.

Again Barbra you won’t know it and there is very little there but it must be somewhere around 25-28 miles. I never go to north Cornwall, except very occasionally I pop up to the moors so not too sure but its round that I think. Cris x

    Hi Barbara,

Oh flower I know how far it is...... I wish it wasn't but not to move this up but to move you lot down nearer :lol::lol:

When I lived up country (I am Cornish) and before I came home I was so home sick I used to drive a round trip in the beginning once a month and by the end once a week just to see the sun go down over the cape. Its a good place and for me its in my blood........ Don't forget though...... It don't half rain!:lol::lol: and Debs will confirm have a lot of gales as well  Cris x
