It's not the Berty which got us confused, but the boy :!:0 -
I use my name I couldn't think of anything else only that I have always loved the band Queen

hello al, may i join you?
this is a fantastic thread !!
i chose NAseebApnaApna, because in hindi it is a saying, htat what is in your destiny will be.
and i believe that all the arthiritses i have were in my destiny, so i could not fight my destiny.

Hi not met you before.
Well that is so nice, how good to think of that.
love Trish x0 -
Plugg is my family nickname and the rest is self explanatory as when i'm on here it's where I am.
If you think the Beano, you get the drift of where it comes from.
Just now though it should be plugginbedwaitingtoringtherhuemy

I choose fester as i in my opinion anyway (gill hates it lol) i look like fester from the adams family.not quite bald but with the dark rings round my eyes through lack of sleep etc and abit of weight round my face and stomach which has to come off, it fits the image of how i feel about myself at the moment. Maybe i'll put my real photo up.

Hi Sangita
That is a lovely name ( Sangita) and welcome.
I'm not so sure about destiny though. Perhaps it is true that our lives are mapped out for us. I'm not sure :?: :?: And as for the arthritis, I think most of us do fight it, even if we can't cure it.0 -
Ah, Sangita - I evidently missed that bit!
Good to have you with us.
Annie0 -
hey, i think fighting it is fine, but with the correct attitude.
live the best way you can, with all you have in your life. enjoy a day or so of feeling low in flares, then try to be as positive as possible.
i think imay not be as bad as some on the boards, but at times worse than others, so maybe that's why i chose my name.
thanks for all the kind welcomes
and pls forgive me in advance for all the typos i'll be making :?

I try to live by "Que sera, sera"........"What will be, will be",
Sangita.
I think your username - and your outlook - says much the same.

Namasthe Sangita, I hope I spelled that right. I hope you enjoy meeting the people on here. We are a very mixed bunch!
I chose my user name, because I have always been called Bobbi (my proper name is Roberta which is so old-fashioned and I have always hated it, I still cringe even now when I have to write it on official forms and things).
When I was about 17 I bought a new skin tight lycra running suit in luminous yellow and green zig-zag stripes. When I wore it at my athletics club, I got a lot of teasing about it and acquired the nick-name Bobbi Dazzler - Bobbi D for short. Sadly I can't do any athletics any more but the name has stuck with me.
Bobbi D0 -
BobbiD, I don't know why you hate Roberta so much. It is a lovely name, not old-fashioned at all. Plain old Joan is so boring in comparison :!: My Dad wanted to name me Dorothy, though, so I would probably be Dotty by now :!: Maybe he was right :!: :?: :?:0

Hi, mine is after my friend's little boy who I worked with in school for 4 years, before we lost him to an awful genetic neurological illness called battens.0

Just a hug ((((( ))))) for you Jay. Cris x0
