I've just seen this too & am struck by the number of us who have done such physically demanding work. It really annoys me when quacks appear on the tv & radio saying arthritis is caused by lack of exercise!
    Mine have been:
    Babysitter (age 13)
Hair washer & cleaning assistant (whilst at college)
Saturday girl in Chelsea Girl ( who remembers them!)
Graphic designer in advertising agency in London
    Print sales rep in London
Civil Servant in Revenue & Customs
    Singer in studio sessions
    Full time Mum
Selling clothes in mobile shop for OAP homes
Bookkeeping from home for small businesses
Part time shop assistant in Waitrose
    Backing singer in bands
    Greeter for nightclub
Max Factor consultant/ make-up artist in store
Helping hubby with his own business

Book club sales (street cold calling in a horrible Hammersmith mall)
Leaflet distribution - a LOT of walking & bending & dogs!
    Avon Lady....
Will take this list along to my next Pathways to Work interview! I really hope to be able to do something again.

    Hi Speedy

Well, when I was younger I always had a full time job and one part-time job - sometimes two part-time jobs - all at the same time ... I liked the variety!!

Unfortunately, now, I'm struggling to do one full-time job!!
