    Last week I was very upset by some posters totally ignorng me.It really hurt like I didnt matter.I told Steph about it.....I do hope she is okay as she was very kind to me....

    Sorry to see that Elizabeth.

    It does get so busy on some threads, that I guess people can feel left out, but I am sure it's not intentional. When people cross post it can look like you have been ignored but I do hope it doesn't happen too often.
    Steph is ok I think it was just a misunderstanding and all cleared up now if you read this one back.

    A while ago some peeps were posting nasty things on here. The Mod's saw it and took the Thread off.

    Before that, late one night there was other trouble where someone was going to harm themselve. Some of us tried to keep the person talking on here.

    The Mod's stepped in and helped the person.

    That is why the Mod's are there for. To stop bullying, peeps saying things that are not true about someone.

    I dont find them like Big Brother, they are basically people, who have Arthur. At Christmas we had a nice Christmas Eve with them, they even joined in with us and we all had a nice time..

    hi al,

    i know i'm new to the forum, adn most forums, as i only started using them start of last september, but i think these boards should be moderated, as explained by jean123.

    it iis easy to misunderstand someone when you are talking ot them face to face, so how easy is it to misunderstand soemting in writing, especially wiht people like me, who make typing errors, on top of spelling errors, on top of forgetfulness...........

    moderators are there as a safety net to all.

    I have seen some dreadful comments on some places.The ones my kids play on they are always complaining about the f word being used all the time.I had to report someone for abusive language on their behalf but it was press this button and no feedback.You dont really know if anything is being done.
    Actually some of the gymnastic videos I watch the comments below are extremely aggressive with people calling each other dreadful,insulting names because they disagree about something.

    Me again,

    It is very easy to think that a post is being ignored, and it looks like it happens a lot, but I haven't seen it done on purpose. When people are holding a "conversation" it is easy to miss a post in between...goodness, I have even seen instances of rehab being ignored on here!!! He simply repeated his post a bit further on, and of course got immediate replies.

    From what I can see, most people on here are able to say, diplomatically, that they have been annoyed, so any posts unreplied to are likely to simply have been missed. If you do feel you are being repeatedly ignored, please let myself or the mods know about it.

    Somebody posted hello to everyone but not me.The problem was I expected them to ignore me and they did so it was more noticeable to me.Anyway I dont want to cause any hassle as most of us are ill and vacant at times from meds etc so maybe it was that.There are lots of really nice peeps on here and I am a sensitive soul.

    Yep Jean's right - I think I have missed out people in the cafe when the page has turned and you havent got time to go all the way back through.

    If it happens - to me (which it does) I say HELLO :D Like Rehab I wont be ignored :wink:

    Oh Elizabeth I hope it wasn't me.... half the time I don't have enough usable eye site in me to read all the previous posts and cus 90% of the time the spell check doesn't load I take ages to post and well if it was it wouldn't have been meant, ever, at all, never.

    I know I don't see everyone, I know I can't keep up and well I also been overlooked, in fact I often don't get a hi but no-one means it, well I hope they don't anyway :lol::lol::lol:

    When I first joined I got 'overlooked' a lot so I kinda know what made you feel upset but I don't think anyone ever means to...... I know I don't and well just jump up and down and yell at us if we do it to you. ((( ))) Cris x

    jean 123 hope your aches a bit better .do not mind people hiding we each r different .but do like to know who out there watching when here on my own bit like being stalked alone at night with people hiding most of the time they post and then you know who they r so then feel much happier . if come on post and not had time to read it all or so many people to remember just say hi to all lol

    Argh well Steph it's all done in the interest of health and safety, I mean what is there to stop us forming up an arthritic Islamic Jihadists terrorist cell, without controls on us lot the next thing you know rehab could well be powdering down his pain meds to make some type of fiendishly powerful air breathed super laxative and has brain washed me(not hard I know) to be the mule sent to distribute it on the London transport system.
    Oh yes moderators are the sentinels of democracy and free world values!. Can you stop poking me with that cattle prod, I've done what you told me to do Mr Moderator sir!, OH NO!!!, not my fingers!!!!.

    I'm afraid I must own up to the fact that I have a very poor memory sometimes. I try to remember who has just posted, say in the cafe, but if I miss anyone, I'm sorry. It's not always easy keeping up with threads and, if you are feeling tired and achy like me at moment. Wrists and hands hurt by the time you have finished, it's hard to concentrate. So please accept an apology in case it was me.

    There are many times when I feel that I have been ignored, but that is because I woffle on too long. Perhaps I bore peeps. So there you go.
