whats the hilight of you day to day

i havent got one today yet but yesterday it was getting into the car and going to the hole in the wall and then sitting in the car while hubby shopped the excitment neary blew my mind x :roll:

    :lol::lol::lol: Today, so far, but it is only 9.20 am, on impulse, whilst moving the wheelie bin nearer the road for collection tomorrow, I decided to give it a quick wash on the outside. It looks really clean now 8) :D:lol::lol: mind blowing aye :?:

    It's too early to have a highlight for today, but yesterday was taking my girls swimming and seeing how good they are at it now.

    I watched my 8 year old swim all the way to the deep end, turn whilst treading water and swim back to me, over and below the surface. My youngest, once she got over her fear of putting her face in the water, now swims like a fish. My eldest swims like a tornado and I can't keep up with her now. She loves grabbing me and tickling me in the water and is getting stronger - dammit!

    Oh Berty how ever sad this sounds the highlight of my day everyday is seeing my sheep...... I know its silly but I always feel better once I have :D Hey well done and you doing do well.((( ))) Cris xx

    Some of us have pretty exciting lives on here!
    The wheelie bin wash really has me giggling! :lol:

    Yesterday's excitement was buying a new m&s sofa on ebay for the bargain price of £25 :shock:

    Today's has been walking across the road to vote at the school and walking back again. 8)

    But I still have time to cram more action into today so we shall see...

    :D I thought it was hilarious too, mainly because it was an impulse thing. There was me out in the garden in my dressing gown, having wheeled the bin halfway down the garden, or dragging it more like, suddenly deciding to clean it, as if anyone gives a toss, least of all the bin men :lol::lol::lol: I felt virtuous though and thought if I do nothing else all day, I have done that :lol::lol:

    Will step out to vote though later, for sure.

    Been meaning to give one of the shrubs in the garden a haircut, kept passing it walking up and down the garden. Well, that has now been done. :D Again this was done on impulse. :lol::lol: Looks much better. I like doing things on impulse. :wink::lol:

    I've had a good day so far. I'm on a 6 week self-management course for people with long-term conditions, so spent the morning on that, which was very helpful. Then when I got home, I heard from a friend who I haven't seen for a while, so that has made my day.

    Oh dear, I have no idea which to choose from. It's between finding that the benefits office are investigating me, telling the Halifax I can't pay my mortgage, writing another letter to solicitors and crying my heart out to my counsellor. I think my highlight will be falling into bed tonight. Lets hope tomorrow is better. :(

    I met a total stranger whilst walking the dog and we both chatted away about our dogs as if we'd known each other ages & the dogs got on too, so that was really good. & because we chatted I walked further than I thought I'd be able to

    Lets see. Got my script filled out. Then the really exciting bit, I chucked some old clothes out. Oh and had a text to say my new oven being delivered Sunday. No more something on toast for a while :D:D
