Being contacted out of the blue by an old uni friend from 15 years ago. He found out that I'm getting divorced and asked if he could get a look in now!! Made my day. :D

    WAHAY!!!

good for the old ego that Cathy :D

Mind you you are not 100% single now are you

I politely declined. I don't think arthur would approve of me having 2 men on the go at the same time!! Still nice to have an ego massage every now and again.

I heard some news today, from a friend. Not shout-out-loud good but definitely not bad. Optimistic and pleasing would describe it. DD

The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

Finding out that the duck pond bread ban incident took place at the duck pod I spent most of my childhood at. Feeding the ducks was a great and regular pastime for my friends and family whilst growing up and now it has been banned!
    It just made me laugh,

A neighbour`s adorable little three year old, who just informed me that she was going to a birthday party for her "husband, Joe Fish".

When I raised an eyebrow to her mummy, she whispered "Joseph, and they`re just good friends".....Ange.x.

Meeting up with two friends that we haven't seen for years, it was great, had some food down at the pub on the canal side, good grub, good company and a good catching up and plenty of reminiscing...........
Made me feel old though, haha.. And after 3hrs I was in a lot of pain, no matter how I tried I couldn't settle..
Next time they can come here, I can lounge on the sofa then, haha..
