I agree... can never get enough of them saying i love you..xxTracyxx0

My best friend, aged 87, wore some ear-rings which I had given her for Christmas when we went to the cinema together today. She told me that she really likes them because they make her feel glamorous, so I was very pleased.
Also, she has been receiving treatment for cancer, but has just been told that she is in remission. What better news to start the New Year :?: That has given me the biggest smile of all.

Hi traluvie
I don't think I have met you before, so welcome to the site
My friend is a real inspiration to me. She is my role model and mentor in life, so I was devastated when she was diagnosed with cancer. At her age, I was doubtful whether she would be strong enought to undergo the treatment, but I hadn't reckoned on her determination and courage. Now she has come through it, I am determined to make her life as enjoyable as possible because she deserves it so well.

Son had his 6th birthday. We had play bus, bouncy castle and a friend of my daughters did music and games. It went well. One of the games they had to wrap a parent in toilet roll. To compete for the best mommy prize then they had to dance to thriller It was funny to watch.Joanne0

That sounds like a lot of fun, Joanne I would have loved to have seen the parent wrapped in a toilet roll What a lovely age six is :!:0 -
My partner going to the shop at 7 this morning to get me some radox bubble bath as i was real stiff and then my daughter making me tea and toast in bed..
I am very lucky...xxTracyxx0 -
I didn't sleep very well, so in the early hours I decided to send an email to a friend. Imagine my surprise when I received an immediate reply :!: It seems that my friend was awake too, and had been writing an email to me at the same time. We must be psychic :!:0

watching the mad people that have ventured out trying to walk down the road. Arms and legs everywhere trying to balance and stay upright. Even the grass is slippery...never seen anything as bad as this. Needless to say i have stayed in. I do hope no one hurts themselves.0

I was talking to Lewis (The Underkeeper) yesterday....about people on forum....
He was playing games on his 'DS'.....
I mentioned DD...........without looking up he said
" Is that her name.......or her bra size"
And carried on without a second glance......
I nearly burst trying not to laugh.........
There is no answer to that!!!!!!Rob0 -
Mr DD. I went to find him in Debenhams where he had been browsing the sale clothes. I 'walked' up to him and said 'Seen anything you fancy?' He replied 'Only you.' This was addressed to me, a fat, sweaty woman propped up on sticks, a woman on the very thinnest part of the humira wedge and not coping that well with moving. I smiled, then giggled and clattered off to look at the handbags. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Of course I knew you wouldn't - I would cheerfully have had a bet that you would be the first to respond! I would like to make it known that Rob, ever the gentleman, sought my permission to post his anecdote. How could I say no? DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
