Happy Monday to you too, Cath, my love, and everyone else. Hope Meg had a lovely birthday.

I`m feeling good today. My son was home for the weekend - he came on his motorbike, without the family - and knowing the fears I have about him and bikes - insisted on taking me out for lunch. ON THE BIKE. Wayhay, talk about Grannyrocker! That daft hat thing ruined me hairdo though!

I hope everyone gets the day they need........Ange.x.

    Happy Monday my Friends!

Yep, I am trying to think positive. Went to take my half a zillion pills this morning and was about to freak out as stupidly have run out of my steriods!!!!!

Since 8am I have been trying to call my GP to arrange more pills however for the last 2.5 hours constant engaged tone. HOWEVER, as it is Positve Monday I am still thinking that I shall POSITIVELY get through to them AND that I won't receive a lecture from the Rottweiler of a receptionist that I should be more organised haha!

    Keep smiling, Carol

Good for you Carol. If the Rottweiler does try to lecture, just smile and say, 'I know I made a mistake but thank you so much for helping me out, you're a life saver.' It's very hard to be nasty to someone who is nice to you. ;)

    Hello Everyone :D

    Happy Monday.

My day has been mad already - the gas man came and checked the boiler etc....smiled at him  he is now absolutely terrified - quite understandably so.... (if anyone has seen the advert with Keith lemon in it? I have a feeling I am the female version of him)..... the lad was only young....

The bloke who delivered my lovely new shiny fridge (enormous - the fridge the fridge  ) took the humour he was subjected to by myself and my friend, Cazza ( who kindly came and assisted me to move the old one and clean  the gunk underneath it), far better :) Having said that even he drove of pretty sharpish :?

I wonder if I am in danger of getting 'blacklisted'...

if so I shall blame it all on Airwave

    Love

    Toni xx

Well, Toni and JuliePF - loved your stories - I think you should try and make a week of it ... just to keep us all entertained.

Today I had a doing day on the clutter clearance front (yes, this is STILL ongoing!! Very productive day. Ably helped by fab odd job man.
Perhaps I should dream up some more jobs for him ...!!

Goodness, the things I'm getting blamed for! Well, did the earth move for me yesterday? Yes, but gently.....

Took OH out for lunch, sat outside a 'fishplace' in the hot sun, crayfish tails and salad (aren't I good!) a glass of hic(!), we even wandered elsewhere and had a coffee and then into town and brought a couple of cakes for our afternoon tea. Cooked some spare ribs, enjoyed a glass of cider later and.....relaxed, aaaaaahhhhhhhhh.....

What shall we do next month?

    8)Its a grin, honest!
