Well we put in our requests nice fire for Cris, Leather recliner chairs with a massager on them. You just press the button and hey you having a massage where it hurts

Just adding another to the list Memory foam pillows so they can be used as cushion when peeps sit down and it hurts them

Back is screaming and has been for days, but, carrying on, pottering and fussing as I do. I think I over did things when I got back onto the proper dose of pregabs, thought oh, that's a bit better, so I will root round in the cupboards and have a tidy round, paying for it now.

Angry at the wheelchair services, OT ordered mine in July, I rang them this week and they said, you might get yours by Christmas :shock: :shock: we have had a lot of orders. No kidding, half of Lancashire must have put an order in. :roll:

Can I put in a request for a consultation room? people don't want to have their treatments and medicines in full view of the assembled throng. plus, I can store my medicine trolley in there. I will pop a bed in there too, for those who are feeling proper out of sorts.

Is it a ordinary wheechair??

Yes, one with big wheels, she said they are more comfy. Lack of funds is more likely, I can feel a letter to my friendly MP coming on. Bet you the wheelchair would be here within a week, if I wrote to him.

I think they are made to spec did they measure you if they did it will be a job they have to do.

I remember one of my wheelchairs I waited and waited for and kept getting told it was coming and it never did. When I rung up I got all the excuses there could be. The last being the most funny.

It had gone to Germany I think it was. I told them Well I'm in England and I'm not German so why would it go out there.

Their anser was it was sent out there for a soldier who needed it.

So I reminded that I had been measured for this and how would they know a soldier could use it. He might be bigger than I was .

Well I got on to the OT and told her the feeble excuses. I could understand if a soldier could have used it but it was being made to spec.

The next day I had a call to say could they deliver it I said yes and they brought it.

I asked about it being in Germany and they looked at each other as if I were mad.

They said no we did not get the request to deliver it I think it was.

It was a real nice chair all done in chrome it was so nice. I went and broke it and it could not be fixed again.

I did get a few years use of it though.

It's freezing here, wind is very cold, will have to find gloves, hat and scarf before I go off to the hossy for my eye test appointment.

Got a few minutes before lunch, so am having a builders and a sit-down.

Shove over a bit, Barb.........I could do with some of that fire for a few mins.

hang on annie will stick another log on it so cold in this portocabin will be glad to get propper roof over our heads again with conservitory books fire ect

afternoon all,not long got up, im having a rough day and on mega go slow. it freezing here also which dont help,

going to grab a coffee and sit by the fire , some one has kindly put logs on it and its burning nicely, thankyou.

Afternoon all.. Hope you're all well.
Had a bit of a rough morning, couldn't move too well, took my painkillers and sat in the shower for half hour, that got me moving a bit better..
The sun is shining here but it's mighty cold..

Hope there's tea in the teapot!!??

Afternoon all, ust popping in for a large builders then going back to bed. Not doing good at the moment in a lot of pain, had to have some xrays yesterday now I hurt even more :roll: Take care all will be back when we are open again.
