I managed a quick tea at cost a packet this morning,

which was unusual but good on a Friday the seat finding and tea.
I noticed some new people are being trained up though and the young man serving me seemed a bit unsure about what constitutes soya milk.
Oh dear. That’s not good for vegans, non - vegans and people who just like soya milk.
anyway I managed to have my tea without enjoying a collision course with a dog so that was something ha ha

Oh dear me poor BB his car has given up the ghost. Mine is booked in for 7th (or 8th better check) i'll be interested to know what's wrong with his. Mine is 11 years old I had it from brand new, but luckily i do have my Fig. He will feel like someone has chopped off his legs without a car. Oh no! You and your Mum will be stuck with him in the house more too😣

I have sent down all local supplies of cheese for you in case required. The local Brainsbury's, Baldy, Al Fresco etc all have signs outside warning customers they have sold out.

I see they can't visit for too long as BR is the popular boy now and has many social engagements booked. He can take any left over cheese with him and donate it to the party host's Mummy.

Sorry to hear PM symptoms reared up again. Just remember it will pass and as you said a future free of hormones looms thank goodness.

Morning Toady hope all is well with you. A very icy start and already sunny so hope to get outside later. Going into Erdington to the Hungarian shop this morning then I hope outside this afternoon.

That is so cute those little grape hyacinths. So pretty the two colours. I like Sarah raven's ideas too. I have 3 packets of her edible flowers which I am thinking of planting so I can pretty up my salads this summer. All of my seeds are out of date really toms cucumbers etc etc…I imagine a vast amount of yours are too? Next year will do I'll give them another year (as I said last year and probably the year before!).

Elfie is so chuffed you liked his impersonation. Paul was away last night (work) so I'm pretty sure once I went to bed I heard the TV switch on and the Magpie murders theme tune come on. 'Watching the detectives'!! Brilliant well spotted!

Sleek is coming over to have a moan it seems next door but one after 'new' neighbours now also have an enormous trampoline also visible from here🙄 She wants to moan about it. Perhaps I'll have to get one for Arya so i fit in? NOT! They are dangerous my niece broke her arm on one. Anyway Sleek is so cross she's calling in to costa packet for a treat for you both.

Good morning everyone.

Hope everyone had a reasonable nights sleep. I’m well up but not sure how awake I. Am. These days I can get up wide awake go sit in the armchair and fall asleep again within minutes. Mr T brought mu a mug for my tea and coffee. It says on it . I came , I saw I forgot what I was doing went back got distracted I have no idea what’s going on is this Ben my mug now I have to pee. That is just right for me these days

TONI our grandson has been unwell in hospital recently with sepsis and it affected his pancreas problems he was in for 15 days as when he went in he was very sick. Both grand daughters are fine.
As for the great grand kids they are all ok and growin up very quickly.

Eldest granddaughter’s girls are now 13, 8, and six. All 3 now baton twirling and quite good at it and have lots of medal, between them. Grandson’s 3 are now 9, 7, & 5. All doing well at school.

Youngest granddaughter’s 2 are 3, & nearly 2 time for some photos I think

Dad’s car is 16 years old, so fairly aged for a car I guess ha ha

Yes it looks affects mum more than it fixed me , the car, but not good really especially with hospital appointments and things for mum but hopefully the garage will sort it out soon I guess and of course taxis are an option for things like hospital issues
I’m okay thanks, but the MXT tiredness is really catching up with me a bit I think so I’ll leave this is a relatively short poetic post and try and write more as the day progresses at least that’s the plan in the unbalanced hatter methodology of the mima, or something like that 😂

Vc poem called ‘When breakfast goes wrong, A poem not yet immortalised in Song”
I had a small breakfast with the wisp
And tea so hot that I burnt my tongue and spoke with a lisp
In the woods I ate a few small cakes with the fairy
I had “plant based margarine” as some call it, no dairy
Evil M the television witch
shouted so loud she stumbled then fell into a ditch
I searched the woods for the golden scone
But with no success, so I phoned toady on the rotary phone
And said ,”toady my friend, why have you eaten all the scones in sight?
I’m so hungry, but there’s no food left, not a single bite
She replied “The midnight milkman, forgot my shopping you see
Until now, I’ve had no cake scones or tea
No Cinnamon porridge, no cereal at all
Not even an overpriced, gastrically inappropriate energy ball”
I said is toady your needs are greater than mine. Let’s go and see Toni so we can feast on cabbage and vegan cheese sandwiches, floating in brine”

Morning all 🌞 started well with an early cup of tea and the intention to get ahead with all my chores while the sun shines. Turned into a half a draft in here, breakfast, half a chore and tea again, oh dear. Really not all that warm either.

Frog not another trampoline noooo 😣 I'm horrified for you. Such bad luck 😕 why can't the fad wear off?! - I suppose it would only be replaced by something worse 🙄. (Also why can't these people have the sort of weedy children that only have 2 goes and then just want to go in and read a book, like I was 😂.) No wonder Sleek turned up in a right huff poor thing, fur all the wrong way - it was good of her to bring us a treat, what can you do faced with these irritations except cheer yourself as best you can 🤷‍♀️. I was dreaming the postman was in my house doing his Big Garden Birdwatch out of my window 😂 have to laugh but I dream about people being in 'ma hoose' far too often, a direct result of feeling impinged on all sides 🙄. Hope you get a chance to get in the garden today in relative peace 😬 rather a chilly wind though. Yes many old seeds here 😳 am having another good sort too & will look up which don't mind being past their date and which might be hopeless causes. Good luck with your salads & the nice edibles 👍️ you reminded me, to get some nasturtiums, see if I can get them past the slug danger stage maybe better than marigolds. The pots are arriving today apparently! I have stopped fretting over the purchase thank you and will be glad of them 😊. I never thought of getting a different muscari for some reason but will get a pale one next year. Nice to see my hosta 'blue mouse ears' coming back, and the agapanthus sprouting already. Hope Paul is getting on ok with work and funny that Elfie helped himself to the remote in his absence and had Magpie Murders on 😄 and some tv snacks I hope. Have a good afternoon, love to all 😘 xx

Joan I am so sorry to read your news 😥 that is so sad to hear. I was thinking of you and hoping for better news but the vet will know what was best I had the same with my cat. Hi to bosh, I did have a not bad night thanks so nothing nocturnal to report 😄 I could probably pass you on a few neighbourhood related tales to put in your screenplay but unfortunately most of them would end up with me in litigation, and you by proxy 😬 so perhaps not 😄. Glad you had some tea & toast out yesterday 👍️ and got a good seat, not very impressed with soya milk guy, it's not exactly a new & niche product, doesn't give you much confidence 😮. Hope the caterers for the birthday soirees are a little more 'with it' as nobody wants a host of disgruntled littleys being served the wrong jelly & custard 😱. Yes you'd think other mothers might have wanted party-free Sundays but you can't exactly move your children's birthdays around unfortunately. Have a good rest of day :) xx edit: missed post syndrome, glad I've just spotted it, what a fab poem that is, from title to 'punchline' 😀💯 I love it 😊. I do have some overpriced energy balls as it happens, a rarity, how did you know 😮 I'm not sure how inappropriate I admit I didn't make an in-depth scrutiny, no added sugar, that's the best I can say. They were here a while back and sent persistent letters saying there was more work to come and they would want to turn the supply off, but then never did 🤷‍♀️. Hope you are less achy soon xx

Ah your Dad's car is pretty old then. My Juke is in fact 11 so much younger. They do have more and more problems as they get older though. Is it very precious to him a BMW or something posh? He'll have to keep chucking money at it if he wants it on the road.

Absolutely you can get taxis (a catsi) no problem for outpatients appointments easy enough. There are usually solutions to most problems, but i can't see him enjoying that much.

Loved the poem! I could visualise you there searching here there anywhere for something, anything to eat! I don't like those energy balls either. Nope I don't they very often have bits in them and they get stuck in your teeth. They are also rather indigestible for me. hang on l'll find you a scone

I nipped into the foodbank on Friday yesterday l went to the Hungarian foodstore in Birmingham got loads of stuff. Especially pickled (fermented) cabbages I will share with Kari. The meats are for my brother and my nephew and his wife.

The children next door and NDB1 don't play on those things much so they are really only an eyesore. They are so tall they stick up over the fences and block my view of the sunset. Next door though have a lot of parties. When they do the adults get on them in slightly inebriate states. You can probably imagine.

Sleek has calmed down now about it and enjoyed it at yours even if you didn't get half of what you wanted to done. Elfie had his Daddy (Paul) back last night so they watched 'Shed and buried'.

I have a feeling most of your seeds will be out of date too times goes past so quickly and you only get a couple of years in the first place don't you? My edible flowers are indeed nasturtium (black velvet), calendula (Indian prince) and wild pansy (sorry Little Vi😯 I won't eat you!). I thought I'd just grow them in pots? Glad to hear yours will be with you soon and you've stopped regretting buying them. Yes try the nasturtium why not?

Glad you had a nice time in Erdington yesterday frog, I forgot to mention, and got some good stuff 😊. And saw your foodbank 'crew'. Hope your Sunday is lovely and the new mums' too of course 😘 it is a nice sunny day for you hopefully. I have not been outside that much but I have got my garage on the ropes now so that will facilitate gardening in itself. The pots arrived, all in one piece and extremely well packed, so I take back every one of my unjust misgivings they are super 😊. Also did some more seed sifting, I do have some last year's but everything before that is indeed the 2+ year mark, and a lot more in some cases, you're quite right. One or two should be fine if not better (apparently penstemon seeds quite like being older), and others will be chucked in anyway, nothing to lose. Nice nasturtium choice 👍️ yes lovely and cottagey in pots, they're creepers not climbers aren't they, and your other things too. I do have a couple of forgotten nasturtiums I ferreted out, some apricot and a 'ladybird rose' - will get some blue pepe as well which I like. Hosta repotting 🤔 spring & autumn for replanting or dividing it says, so either end except high summer, seems ok as far as I can see. Yes you may be Sarah R on the next time round, I will be Carol K I think just for the energy & enthusiasm 😀. I'll get a better shed then too as a bonus, just not one with Austin 7's in it, sorry Paul & Elfie. Glad the NDB1's are not using the trampoline overly, I know ND had slacked off but still 🙄 it is inconsiderate especially the view blocking. As for tipsy trampolining, oh gawd, no thanks 😣 I suppose they think people won't begrudge them, little do they know how much I would 😄. It's Catch-22 though, because it would be only fair if people like us inconvenienced people like them somehow, but we wouldn't want to 🤷‍♀️. Have a nice evening love to all 😘 xx

Hello Joan I hope your walk was good with Pepper. I would love to see your plants yes please sometime 😊. Is it not usual for Amazon to be round your way? Does the neighbour that has all her things come to the house (rather than go out) never have them? Hope Charlie is well and things are ok as possible with you, I did just about remember the clocks, but it all feels so late now I would rather an hour back 😬. A chap on the news a retired policeman has a collection of 52 clocks to put on in the Spring and loves doing it 🕰️ I do like proper clocks but don't think I'd ever get used to the ticking. xx

Hi to bosh aka the best (only) mima, and hope things going ok with whatever your day involves, glad your mum has not been doing too much 👍️ cooking etc. The protein balls were an impulse checkout purchase, they are not like those big ones you get they are half an inch tops so more like a protein marble 😄. Not sure what the point is really because like you I couldn't eat more, & you'd get not much protein out of one may as well eat something else altogether something not overpriced. I agree with Toni about them being very 'bitty' as well 😬😄. As for the lovely bunnies and cake, yes in our dreams, but so sweet 😍. hi everyone, anyone ever had skin rash from mtx? Got a bit of a bumpy rash on my neck scalp and feel a bit grotty.

I swerved the headache Toni. Still had a slight bad head yesterday but it told it to go away and it did.

Took my two tea in bed this morning for Mothers’ Day and Niff came over and we went for late lunch at Sucré’s fav restaurant.
