Evening all

Have been very busy the last few days have not had time to post. Also had a chronic back ache which has been really painful. And I have not slept well because of it which has made me very tired. And yesterday I had my covid booster. Not that that caused any problem only an aching arm however that’s ok today.

ok bit more on update about what’s been going on. After our regular check ups at doctors blood test and the like .my last blood test showed I was right on the base line of pre diabetes so have to watch what I eat until my next blood test somewhere at the end of the month. Fingers crossed that I have come out of the cstart of it. Mr T hasd blood test showing high cholesterol after a re check after taking tablets for a while and they found a fatty liver, so they took him off the cholesterol tablets to see if it made any difference. After the last blood test he was told him the fat has decreased a bit so have given him some different different cholesterol tabs.

The result of all these blood test means we are both trying to eat more healthy. It isn’t doings us any harm as we had both gained weight again after losing it when we went to SlimmingWorld. So the bonus is we have both lost weight again. We both now suffer the arthritis aches and pains, and mr t now has to take co-codamol. Our house is like a chemist shop. 😂😂😂

I came across this photo today it’s our little Jaxson or as we all call him Jax when he was a bit younger he is always smiling.

Morning Jojo My husband is a really bad snorer too. I now go to bed before him so I can get off before he starts which is immediate his head hits the pillow! I read my kindle in bed a paperwhite lightweight one I can swish the pages over with one thumb even with night splints on. I usually get off after about 3 pages. Worth a try maybe?

My daughter will take the baby to the same arm I used to take her too when she was little I think😊 ((())) xxx

Morning Toady I love love love the swooning picture🤣It was Sleek! Yes exactly her it's what she does quite often as you know. I keep smelling salts (cat treats) on hand for such events. Never fails.

Seriously i am glad that you will keep an eye on things now as far as development is concerned. It's not easy, but there should be people around feeling the same as you. No there will be and plenty of them feeling as strongly. Not happy with the Govt they have built hundreds of new houses near(ish) to hear we surely have enough????

I have mislabelled some of my hollyhocks too!!!!! Honestly so I am a bit confused but will plant the lot outside in May I think and do better this year. Elfie is chuffed to bits with his seedlings only one so far of his 4 yet to emerge the cucumbers are mine and do take a little longer.

I'm doing bedding plants to the plant sale people like them a lot they go first - some ageratum, cosmos that sort of thing? We always end up with too many hardy plants left over and people's excess tomato plants too(which I feel sorry for and end up rehoming🙄. I also started off those lovely alliums that I was given which were toxic to Sleekipaws. Yes you must remember dear old Pepe😕That lady clearly has green fingers piddle doesn't, but what they have is such a bargain.

Tale care have to be quick this morning due to the DENTIST😣 Hope I can open my jaw wide enough.

Morning Skinny Keef How lovely having a chat with another biker friend. Hands watch your hands though the sun has some heat and light in it. Your skin must be very sensitive to it too - factor 50 remember.

That really made me laugh the 'other dog' is a pig garden ornament. If it had been pink I'd have known maybe?!!! I thought it might have been a dog of Niff's visiting.

I am very pleased to hear you are back eating healthy I can certainly see why with those scary scores I would be doing the same in your shoes. Statins affected my liver too so I came right off them - my cholesterol is 3.9 so i am not worried anyway just those darn Drs wanting us all on them. Still if mr T's was really high it is right to get it down. We do not want strokes or heart attacks do we?

As for you you did so well last time (was it 3 stone you lost that rings a bell?) you'll soon do it. No way will you get diabetes if you can help it. I am sorry about your back though and mr T joining us all with arthritis now too.

Toady (()) there is a green belt near here where I take pepper it’s a good few acres with trees. I think they will build on it soon but not yet they haven’t. I made an appointment with the doctor I’m fed up with my finger on my right hand I just thought I should put up with it. It’s the finger next to the little one it bends down and touches my hand and the little finger goes out side ward it’s so difficult doing things I have to keep straightening it.it’s a good job I’m left handed. I’m sorry you have all that worry. Have a good day.

Hi all 👋 oh gosh day more than half over, none of my jobs ticked off and 3 interruptions - tea please!

Has been too windy again for the garden frog, supposed to be just breezy but a towel I have on the line is blowing horizontal whenever I look out 😬. Same next few days so I am earmarking Monday onward for actual pottering, looks much better. Oh not you too, the hollyhocks, but we always label! 🤥 well I did, but one pot in each group, then the groups got separated. One label per pot from now on 😄 mine don't matter for colour, but one lot is dwarf so that might be a bit of a hitch lol 😂. Never mind. Hope your bedding plant seedlings come up well, and there are not too many tomato orphans, cometh the day 🤞. Hope the alliums do well too. How is the asparagus? I shall be potting my wallflower seedlings on next and thinking about where to put a few plants that are ready to go out, and whether I can cope with runner beans &c this year 🤔. Nothing else to report except I am 'in talks' with workmen again so that will be the next hurdle 😱. How was the dentist? I know what you mean, mine have to try and get in my letterbox mouth as well, doesn't help does it - did they/you mention your jaw other than that? Hope Lucy got on ok too, love to all 😘 xx

Hello Joan, I hope the doc can suggest something helpful about your hand. My left hand little finger is bent at the lower knuckle and won't straighten but I never notice it and it isn't annoying. My same finger as what you say on the right is a bit like yours though, it wants to curl in but it isn't touching my palm, that would be annoying 😕. Have you ever had splints for anything hand-related? Hope your day has been ok it is very windy here. I wish they leave your nice bit of green open land alone but they probably have designs on it if it's good building land unless there is a reason they can't. You always hope there will be a rare species they can't disturb. We need all the space like that we can hang onto, we have a park not too far away but a park is never the same somehow it's too tidy 🤷‍♀️. Take care 😘 xx

Hi bosh, very good topical poem 😄 that was a funny story in itself about the attempted lunch-pinching. Is nothing sacred. Oh no QJL yesterday as well, it never rains but it pours 😱 hope everything is going as well as possible and there are no more excess visitors! Sorry that meant you didn't get your post-group rest, hope it was ok and everyone as well as poss that was there. I was tired by the evening too so I never made it back online after the nap. Carol it sounds like you and Mr T have done very well in response to your blood results etc and take a grasp of things 👍️ oh yes the medicine cabinet of doom, they never get any emptier do they 😬. Sorry about your backache though that is not easily dealt with, what do they suggest for it is it more rest or moving around? Glad you feel better from the jab side-effects and they were minor. What a sweet little soul Jax looks there 😊. Have a good evening xx

Sorry about the gasmen Stuart, I have had so far this week a mini-digger grubbing up the lawn 2 doors down, tree trimming and power tools today and in any gaps there is the chap over the road who endlessly tinkers with one car or other 🙄. Do hope your works finish soon! 🤞 xx
