Glad you had a nice time at Bicester frog (sad bit aside 😔) and Elfie had lots of fun too I see, came home with his pocket money intact, and all of Sleek's, fancy having her Kitibank card! 😱 eek. We had a nice day here, glad you liked her nails - Ballet Slippers, like the Queen always wore you know 😊. (That's great btw that you've been able to creep up on the increased 'dose' 🤫👍️). Sun is shining here, like you it's a better day here than tomorrow, but rain forecast in morning so far 🤞 hope it will be ok for race for life by then, give Kari a little cheer on for me 👍🏃. Yes I am a bit twizzled at night with family tree charts 😬 but am getting to a sensible place to leave it; I hit a snag yesterday with a father's name & occupation being on their daughter's marriage cert even though deceased but apparently that's not uncommon for the time. Will try to get outdoors more today away from screen, did some weeding yesterday and want to get a bit more done before rain. Should get some washing out too or it's a waste of windy weather! Hope your day is ok and you get on alright at the aquatics place, I don't see why they shouldn't let you have some info? 🤔. Cup of tea and a little hug 😘 love to all xx

Hello Joan hope your day goes alright today 🤞. Ooh yes that is a bit tricky with children's noise and Pepper 😬 as long as it's not too often it's ok. In the summer we all want to be outdoors and preferably enjoy the garden with not too much noise, children are bound to get overexcited playing sometimes, it's awkward you don't expect them to be silent but I'm sure I never screamed 🤷‍♀️ I used to sit on the swing and sing though maybe that was just as annoying 😬. Got quite a bit done in the garden, just as well, quite a bit of rain creeping in to the forecast now 😕 the roofer will be viewing that with just as much gloom as me 😬

Hope your day has been ok bosh if tiring 👍️ I forgot, well I didn't see, the reminder for my meds delivery driver tomorrow so I will have to get to bed too, or he will be here before I know it, knocking three times (Doctor Chew reference). It's one morning I didn't have to get up otherwise but oh well never mind. Omg the pastry tongues 😂 oh well they would have no-one to blame but themselves if that's what people did, because they didn't check 'they're' spelling 😉. Yes I had my breakfast at a reasonable hour, for a non-early bird anyway, as long as it doesn't overtake elevenses then all's well 😂. I read all about the seeded loaf, quite the episode wasn't it 😮 I do understand people not liking a changed product but that's different (looking at you, al fresco rich tea biccies 🤨). Hope you have managed a good hot room / cold room ratio and you have a good night :) xx

Oh no😣tongues🙄 how gross😂 Riley will be in heaven if he sees that sign. Imagine being given actual permission to lick all those pastries! minus 25 food hygiene rating? Yes definitely and that was with a generous inspector!

It's very wet here ATM although it is supposed to be partly sunny in time for the Race for life tonight. My sister me my friend another ex colleague of hers and of course Lucy are all doing it together. Fingers crossed it dries up. It wasn't too hot here yesterday in fact it was close on ideal. The Basement stays quite cool never cold either even in winter. There is 3 foot of concrete all around it apparently.

The boys will be back at school and nursery BR enjoying his last term before he has to knuckle down at 'big school'. Little LA has no idea what 'real' big school is yet thank goodness.

Apparently it's bicycle day. I had a ride yesterday not even enough for my fitbit to register!

Morning Toady Hope you are well and were up in time for your meds. I left Fishy in quarantine, but his toys (plants and hidey holes) are in there with him so he can hide if he needs to which he will I'm sure. They said I can ring in and see how he is but reckon he will be rehomed in no time at all.

Sleek is very kind to Elfie who is still fast asleep in bed ATM. She doesn't mind him using her card he really does only buy sweets and vegan ice creams. He didn't by a car at least although he liked two older fiat 500s (split screens) but they were left hand drive and anyway his feet don't reach the pedals yet.

He plans to join us for Race for life later and will no doubt win running backwards and forwards.

I think my father's name and occupation is on my marriage cert to Paul and he was also deceased 20 years ago. He was young yes as was my Mum. Us three have been orphans for a very long time indeed. I intend to do better for my children and Grandchild. Enjoy your detecting Sleek seems rather full of it too herself and is researching Elfie's family tree now. She's got as far as his Grandpappy Elfred.

Well done doing a bit outside i did too because it's green bin day here and as we have to pay they must always be full!

Toady (()) there is rain here as well. I had the steroid injection yesterday the Doctor said it might not work i said I won’t know if I don’t try it. He said you have to rest it for the rest of the day. I said I have to get home first. I hope you have a good day.

Hi all 👋 bit of a grim tea at half past three sort of night, so am not the full shilling today 🙄.

Quite heavy rain this morning frog, roof so far so good 😬 my slight lurking fear is that any fix might have just masked or re-routed the drip somewhere I can't tell, but hopefully that's overly pessimistic 🤞. Forecast has pretty much dried up for later so I hope it has for you too 👍️. Might get a bit done outside later but was definitely the best yesterday for gardening and drying washing. Meds chap was here very early in the timeslot thanks which was great, no waiting about 😊. Thank you for the wedding cert info, I had no idea it continued in recent times I assumed it was something olde, that definitely settles that 😀 I did get in a twist this morning when I thought I had a wrong person - info on the net seemed to suggest so - but I actually think I'm right and there's been some confusion, easily done unfortunately. It did mean chasing up two individuals in detail though just to eliminate one 🤪. Bless Sleek helping with Elfie's Grandpappy 😘 was Elfred a shoemaker by any chance? 🤔. Very kind too to stand a little Elf ice-cream & treats now & then. Not a Fiat yet then, but he would suit one I must say wouldn't he, a nice green one 😊. Hello Joan, yes quite a bit of rain, but short-lived - none in here, so we'll see, next few days are pretty wet at times. Best of luck with the injection, yes quite right you couldn't start the resting straight away unless they wanted to put you up at the surgery 😄. Worth giving it a go as you say 🤞. Nothing much going on here today, just pressing a pair of curtains, they are not being very obliging 🙄 hopefully they will drop a bit more when up. Have a good evening hope you have everything you need to hand and no-one comes to the door to disturb you, well they will have to go away 😘 xx

Lovely flowers Stuart 😀 I have failed on the summer colour front, next year as I always say, has been too much going on to get much done. Little Tea poem by me as promised thanks 🙏

Vc poem called”The last cup of tea, influenced by feudal issues in the extended family”
The Great Toast famine of Cost A Packet was thankfully no more
but another terrible problem, had washed up on the shore
There was a coffee aplenty in the coffee shop of Fame
But little Ella has drunk almost every cup of tea, oh the shame!
So when thirsty mima had walked and wanted to rest her legs
And consume a simple, hot beverage, There was only extremely weak tea left, just water and dregs
So Mima thought that some tea is better than none
She’d sensibly Wait till later to consume a currant bun
Because Riley had greedily licked all the buns and cakes
Letting him into the coffee shop was one of the managers’ greatest mistakes
However Mima did not know that Bill had put hot sauce in the tea
In an attempt to prove that he was the head of the extended family
So poor ignorant Mima drank the tea, it tasted okay, but her stomach started to feel strange.

Coffee, coffee everywhere but only weak tea to drink, with very suspect added extras 😱 there are more Cost a Packet pitfalls than I ever realized, obviously 😮😄. That was great fun to read thank you bosh, here is a terrible gastric volcano pun for you in 'payment'. "If only poor mima had 'Etna' piece of toast or two first, maybe the hot sauce tea would have been absorbed and felt less fiery". Sorry 😳🤭.
