Hi Bubbles and anyone else
Just called in for a hot drink - something with honey and lemon - Not well at all, fed up now of this very heavy cold and poorly chest.

Oh hun, I am running around with my trolley, just been to Julies, let me mix up some lemon, honey and barley, with some cold care capsules as well, plus a vicks plug in and a herbal linctus. That should sort things out a bit. Sending hugs, XX BubblesXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Thank you bubbles
I started with this on Friday and its just getting worse - thankfully I am not at work until Friday afternoon so I think I might just have to take to my sick bed - only problem is as soon as I lie down it sets me off coughing and that doesn't help the headache!

Oh I know, I hate coughs like that, had 3 or 4 lots of antibiotics over winter, for my chest, with COPD it was horrid. I used to take buttercup syrup, that seemed to ease the tickle a bit. It hurts your sides as well. I had best be bringing the whole clinic room with me.
right let's get you all tucked up and well propped, to ease the cough.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
In the middle of the night last night I was really ill, was hot and sweaty and then cold had a mouth which felt like the bottom of a budgies cage and couldnt breath and drink water at the same time. I got up and got the themometer to take my temperature -- and then had a little laugh cos I cant remeber what "normal " temp should be

37.2 or as we were taught, 98.4, but that was a long time back. Anything over 38 is getting warm. Gasping for air is terrible, plenty of paracetamol or other pain killers that you may be on. honey is not so good as it tends to make your throat tickle even more, those lockets are horrific things, they choke me at the best of times.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Looks like I am the only one left, not even the google bot. Will sit down, have another hot choc and go in the corner all on my lonesome. I promise I will clear away afterwards, honest.

oh bless, I was pottering and fussing in the bathroom, the shower is being a pain, since the water went brown sludge (as it does from time to time round here), it is running at a trickle. Hope it is not ££££
I was here with google bot the other night, very pleasant, but didn't say a lot. Thanks for clearing away, I will take my pills and sit with a cup of T before bed. Take care, XX BubblesXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

Evening all,
Just a quick visit because last night could not sleep at all, very painful and just couldn't get comfortable, only 3 hours if that, so a hot choc and I will be gone.
Cath, I do hope that maybe your feeling a bit better. If not, maybe you should get the doctor to see you.
I shall say good night. Sweet dreams, and hope you all have a reasonable nights sleep.

A late evening to one and all, hoping that coughs and colds and pain and the like, are easing. Hugs in abundance. I see the trolley has been needed, I will re stock it, ready for the night a wide selection of goodies and potions, to keep us all afloat. I have set the trolley to automatic, with its listening ear and auto dispenseXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0
